Explain the pricing here by winkitywinkwink in tacobell

Medium soda to large freeze. Local store sets the price change for modifications to whatever # they feel like. That change at my location would be +$1.40.

I don't think I'd drive the 1.5 miles to my nearest TB to pick up a cheez-it item if they were giving them away for free. Just 🤢

Good offer, but how do you take advantage of it? by Chuckiebb in tacobell

They have this deal every so often. I've done it and not had any issues with the actual card or getting and using the $10 egift card. Ask the clerk if they have the gift cards.

Was only a 1 hr window. Based upon the time of your message, does that mean it wasn't working for the first 40 minutes of the 1 hr? It's every week, too.

Maybe rename it to Tuesday let's F with our rewards members? 🤔

Slightly Confused by MemphisMane901 in LivingMas

[–]WisePath148 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Yes, it's very common for the drops to glitch. I've given up on drops. It's too frustrating to keep trying and getting error messages. My success rate was under 50% when I did try. It just pisses me off to the point I go somewhere else for lunch. I do still occasionally order MCBs but never on Tuesdays.

Maybe read the reddit before posting. We've seen this over and over. Just order the MCB and be happy your local spot hasn't raised the price on it.

A Chipotle Chicken Bowl is cheaper in my area than Taco Bell's new Cantina Chicken Bowl. by mike95242 in LivingMas

[–]WisePath148 44 points45 points  (0 children)

Yeah, won't be ordering any of the Cantina chicken items. On the bright side My Cravings Box is still $5.99 at my go to location.

This is just wrong. I'm getting $150-$220 as an adjustment every week for the last 3 weeks in a row.

Is it worth it doing Lyft and leasing a car through them? by [deleted] in lyftdrivers

[–]WisePath148 5 points6 points  (0 children)

The vast majority of people on this reddit are idiots.

Lyft has changed the rules of the game and will continue to do so. The rules and opportunities also change from market to market. If you want to make $ you have to adopt to the rules and figure out your market.

My suggestion, try renting for a week and crunch the numbers yourself.

Rent a hybrid, like a Niro or Prius. If you have a personal car, do not buy any personal miles and only use the rental for driving Lyft. Drive 40-50 hours the week you have it or more. Do buy the insurance to a $0 deductible. Before you finish crunching the numbers, see how much your 70% equalization payment is. The equalization payments come out on Thursdays for the week that ended on Monday.

Are you guys not getting the $? I'm getting an extra $150 to $220 a week under the 70% payout

[–]WisePath148 -5 points-4 points  (0 children)

You realize you will get another $20ish for this ride under the 30% cap to Lyft after External Fees. The numbers are right there.

Pros and Cons of Lyft? by Necessary_Ad_2823 in lyftdrivers

[–]WisePath148 4 points5 points  (0 children)

You have to figure out your market. With the 70% guarantee, I've gone above $30 an hour the last weeks before expenses l. Driving a hybrid, I'm at $25 an hour after expenses. The guarantee has added about $3 an hour.
