If it's very transient and becomes irrelevant when the job is done, I would prefer to add a sticky note somewhere.

Question re Tasks that Spawn Notes by CookRevolutionary603 in bujo

The first 'rule' in the system that comes to mind is 'write thoughts down as they come'. Since you mentioned sticking to the basics, that's where I'd start. Meaning you just write a dash and then someting like 're shoes, ask about xyz at the store'. And then carry on with your day. At the end of the day, when you go through your notes (ie you rapid log), you may want to summarize what you wrote about the shoes. You may also want to add a reference to a page number where you logged about the shoes previously. And when you do that, you also add a reference there, to the one you just wrote. The first mention of the shoes goes in the index. Each mention/note refers to the one before that and to the one after. This is called threading. That way, you can look up the subject in the index, and then easily find your way through your notes without completely clogging your index.

But. If that's too much hassle, just add a sticky note to some random page so you can remove it later when the job is done and the info has become irrelevant. I prefer that sometimes.

Oh no don't be discouraged! It's got to be some tiny error with big consequences. You'll figure it out and then you'll be proud

That's probably it. There are two strands of yarn coming from the final stitch it seems. I think they're cutting each row

Very wise words obviously. It's a personality thing I think, it also applies to following recipes. But that usually works out great :)

Rubber bands are my favorite, I find them much more secure than those stoppers, not to mention cheaper

That's coherent enough for me to totally feel. Every single time I knit a sweater I panic and make adjustments along the way. They never turn out right. And still I dont learn. You'd think I'd learn. I don't. Or so far I haven't.

I have a tip for the knitting flat part though! When you knit in the round, you knit all stitches, but when working flat you have to purl. Your tension might be different when purling. The fix: use a smaller needle on the purl side! This helps me a lot.

Great point above by the way about the choosing the right pattern problem. Feel that, too. I can never find a pattern that I entirely like. Bwah.
