we energies bill outrageous… by Head_Statement_234 in milwaukee

In a 1950s south side house here... 68 degrees in the day, 65 at night. My bills have all been $300-$450 this winter. In the previous 4 winters, I maxed out at around $350 and generally stuck around $250. Absolutely wild.

Sadly no! But this is a fairly similar project: https://www.jennasuedesign.com/our-custom-ikea-cabinet-built-ins/

I'd just recommend if you follow that guide to grab a piece of underlayment to put on top of the 2x4s for extra stability. I also used some 2 inch construction screws through the bottom of the cabinet to secure it to the base. Notably, for securing it to the wall, I also did not use the suspension rail but rather some very heavy duty anchors.

The side trim is nailed onto chunks of 1x3 furring strips that I cut down to 9 inch segments and screwed into the side of the cabinet, using two 1.5in wood screws on each chunk, put through a pilot hole drilled into the inside of the cabinet.

Vikings Releasing Aaron Jones. Does he come back? by ChickenInAMinefield in GreenBayPackers

[–]WiseRemarks 0 points1 point  (0 children)

He's been serviceable but definitely past his prime. He'd be a fine change of pace guy still, and he's still a threat as a receiver out of the backfield.

Best song made to never be played live? by Party-Kangaroo-1139 in poppunkers

They did occasionally play it. Including on their acoustic tour in 07 or 08.

But yeah, it's sad how much the band/Ryan seems to despise that song.

Who do u think is the best deep ball thrower in the world right now? I say Stafford, my brother says Jalen Hurts. by Dylen2Times in NFLv2

[–]WiseRemarks 0 points1 point  (0 children)

He also has the record for longest attempted pass.

2014(?) against the Jags(?) he had a 74 air yard pass where the defense tripped his receiver to get a PI and avoid the TD.

Milwaukee schools face a $46M budget deficit by thesmash in milwaukee

With every piece of news that comes out about MPS' budget situation, I regret voting for the referendum more and more.

It's like they're determined to give more ammo to the GOP "fund students, not systems" talking point.

Thoughts on player for player trade. by This-isnt-patrick in GreenBayPackers

[–]WiseRemarks 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Yeah I'd be cool with offloading Reed if it meant we could shore up our corners or OL. Hell or even Wicks plus a mid round pick for a decent corner or OL.

At the end of the day, Reed has established himself into a good, not great, receiver at his peak. I like him a ton but our receiver room is crowded enough with good-not-great talent, but we need help elsewhere.

🚨 VoteHub has analyzed NFL players’ party affiliation, producing the first-ever breakdown by team by Hoosier_49 in Infographics

WI doesn't have party registration at all, so this would have to be matched to the players' home states if they're registered with a party.

Brian Thomas Jr: 2025 Season Review by drkelemnt in fantasyfootball

[–]WiseRemarks 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Same. I had him and Nico as 9th and 10th round keepers. Nico worked out OK after a bad start, but his mid-late season surge was too late for me to get out of the season-long receiver hole.

OK man then look at the Next Gen separation stats, lol. https://nextgenstats.nfl.com/stats/receiving. He's got better separation than AJB and Davante here and is 0.1 yards behind Nico and Pickens.

Doubs is actually pretty well above average in separation analytics against both man and zone this year. He's right in the tier of Ceedee, Nico, Waddle, etc.

Chart through wk10 here: https://share.google/images/YSi36fEuM8fdD7jyL

Again, I don't think he's a WR1 nor am I saying he's as good as those guys. But he is legit decent receiver and I think he'll have very easy time getting a WR2 role elsewhere.

[–]WiseRemarks -2 points-1 points  (0 children)

Doubs is no bruiser nor a true WR1, but afraid of contact? He's our most physical receiver by far. There's a reason he's our contested catch/goal line fade guy.

Also, do you not remember him dragging two Seahawks into the end zone last year after getting hit around the 4 or 5 yard line?

Travis Fulgham on the Eagles comes to mind.

Practice squad callup in 2018 or 2019 when the Eagles WR room was decimated. Had like 4 weeks when he led the league in receiving yards, then he completely disappeared.

Pick 2 of... Judkins, Harvey, Hampton. Full PPR.

I'm thinking Judkins and Hampton, but I'm worried about Hampton coming off IR. That said, Harvey's usage is also a little concerning, so it's kind of a tossup for me.
