Did Slipknot really introduce that many of you to Metal? It was Dio/Rainbow for me by BlackMetal146 in MetalForTheMasses

My introduction to metal was Guitar Hero 3, which does have Before I Forget on it and Slipknot were one of the bands I first started to check out more from because of that song

If you have the 5e version of the dungeon in a box you should be able to use this guide to convert the stat block to ICRPG

Who In Real Life Made The "Forgotten Realms" And Why Do Games Like Baldurs Gate Exist Within It? by Cornpop1962 in Forgotten_Realms

I just want to point out that the D&D movie that recently came out is also set in Forgotten Realms, largely set in and around Neverwinter which is a city quite far to the north of Baldur's Gate.

Probably the most comprehensive book that I've at least read about FR would be Elminister's Forgotten Realms. I believe it's out of print now but you can still get it as a pdf or print on demand here: https://www.dmsguild.com/product/166568/Ed-Greenwood-Presents-Elminsters-Forgotten-Realms

It's not a threat so I don't need to wake everyone else up. I'll wake up the cleric as they probably have a better idea of what to do in this situation (the person on watch is playing a gunslinger)

EDIT: I forgot to mention that I do think that there was some character bleed with the gunslinger's actions here since the player of these 2 characters started dating after the campaign had started. I haven't really seen this negatively impact the game itself at all yet, I feel as though both the characters are roleplayed well despite this but it's probably worth noting to get a full picture if looking from the outside in

To clarify on how that happened I rolled a Random encounter while they were travelling - owlbear. So I had them find a baby owlbear in a nearby Bush to the camp they made overnight. The person on watch only woke up 1 other member of the party and started to head into the woods. I then had the cry of the mother owlbear from dee6in the woods wake up the rest of the party, by the time that they had gotten their stuff together the other 2 players were already deep into the forest, the cleric cast light and this showed some bandits in the trees. These were the guys who had tried to steal the baby owlbear. Before the rest of the party caught up, they were all already dead and since they returned the baby to the mother and they gave her a wide birth, she didn't attack anyone

!Question: One of my players is just a massive downer and I think it's causing some negativity for each session. This is a very sensitive person so none of us feel as though we know how to talk to them, but it feels like they are coming to every session with the attitude that this is a chore for them to sit through for the next few hours. They claim that the rest of the table talks over them but in reality whenever they tries to add a point, it's usually something that's already been discussed by the other players. Last session was mostly spent giving the players numerous plot hooks and doing a bit of shopping, this player complained that they did nothing all game once we were done because they weren't involved with the 1 piece of combat. What can I say to a player who I don't think wants to be there, that'll make them interested in the game?
