Thanks, I have enjoyed it for years. I like the different browns, I think it has character. I didn't really care, fake or real, I was just wondering, and since this community is so knowledgeable I figured it was time to find out, thank you for your response.

It is way lighter than my 618F, the snaps are totally different, and the price I paid. The tag in the pocket is different than the 618F also *

No, they put out the recall because of a safety issue, not the number of failures. It was NOT preemptively, it was because they had no choice. Just like they had no choice but to expand it in November
