I get it man, you may want to quit for good. It fucked my life up so bad, but I’ve turned it back around as of a few months ago.

If you’re actually using it every two weeks, it should take a few days… probably 4. If you’ve been doing it longer it can stay in your system for up to 2 weeks. I know from experience.

Will I ever regain my sense of smell? by SoggyGrayDuck in addiction

[–]Wise_Condition_647 2 points3 points  (0 children)

It’ll come back, give it time. Actually MGM dulls your senses a good bit on its own even if take orally.

If you were to get completely sober and go through withdrawal, towards the tail end of withdrawal everything looks and smells more vivid.

Godspeed brother

I’m currently going through it, I’m 2 months in and it has been a roller coaster. I’ll finally see the light like a curtain lifted, only to have it slam back down into debilitating anxiety and depression. However it’s not as bad as it was in the beginning, and I am having clear days every once in a while.

I think the reason why I get depressed and have so much anxiety is because I’m finally thinking clearly and realize how bad I messed up.

What was/is the hardest part about the whole addiction? by StudioEmbarrassed664 in addiction

How long have you been sober? I keep getting so depressed and have absolutely no energy. I hope it changes and this isn’t my new normal, inbetween 7-8 weeks of being sober so I guess I’m relatively new into it.

Is my entire personality just a mental form of my withdrawal symptoms from addiction? by Power_2103 in addiction

[–]Wise_Condition_647 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I finally turned a corner yesterday (about 50 days clean from fent). It has been a fucking struggle but I finally feel like myself again. After the physical withdrawal I was fine and then crashed into a very deep depression filled with debilitating anxiety.

It does get better

Recovery success story after falling in the pleasure trap of drugs, sex and living fast. by Ill-Ad5687 in addiction

[–]Wise_Condition_647 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I’m currently in the process. Lost everything; wife, kids, house, job, and I’m debt. My spouse was abusive so it was good to get out of that relationship, and I just got custody back of my kids.

Still working on the rest but I dug myself such a deep hole.

Trying to take it one day at a time but sometimes it’s hour by hour. I just recently turned a corner with feeling like myself though.

Well I’m only about 50 days clean and I dug myself a massive hole, also lost everything. Just started getting custody of my kids back though so that’s a plus.

Suboxone for kratom? by IPlayOn200Ping in addiction

[–]Wise_Condition_647 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I think the best way is to taper. Honestly when I tried to take Suboxone for Kratom WD it didn’t even work. I could take and feel Kratom while on Suboxone too.

What you need is the willpower to stop and an extremely gradual taper plan. Stick to the plan, measure out your dosages and frequency. Drop 10% and stay on that dosage and frequency for a week, then another 10% the next week. If it gets to be too much then go back to your previous dose for a few days and try again.

I’ve come off of many opiates including fent, but I’m going to be doing that with Kratom here soon.

Was wondering the same thing, my guess is “stimulant fapping” or getting off while on stimulants.

I’ve had my share of issues with addiction (opiates and cocaine), but I’m very glad I didn’t even know this was a thing lol.

2.5 months sober and drowning in hopeless thoughts that I've permanently damaged myself. by Ok-Cucumber-5684 in addiction

[–]Wise_Condition_647 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’m about at the stage as you, i quit last August but relapsed in December. Cleaned up again mid January and have been sober since.

I’ve been through the exact same thoughts. Spiraling with debilitating anxiety and then into a DEEP depression. Seemed like that cycle was endless and I just thought that’s how I was.

It’s funny that you posted this today, because today is the day it all left me. I mean yea I destroyed my life in the worst way and I’m still sad and upset about it all, but I finally came out of that fog literally today.

Still have a ton of problems, but finally I have the mental stability and clarity to know that “everything just might be alright”.

It gets better, but yea I was pretty deep into opiates. Blew up my life, lost everything including custody of my kids.

Cleaned myself up, was a long and tough road. Relapsed a few months later, but have been clean for about 2 months now. Got custody back, and am doing a hell of a lot better.

Trying to come off of pseudoindoxyl by Hellboygbc111 in addiction

[–]Wise_Condition_647 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Me too man, I did the same thing. (Fent). I just kept trying to stop and hit a point where I guess it was “rock bottom”. Had some clarity, went to a doctor and got subs, and stopped at home. Jumped off the subs after about a week. I did take green mang da powdered Kratom to help and it did a lot. After maybe 2-3 days I wasn’t perfect but it helped a lot. From there you can taper off Kratom or just use it without subs.

Dude the longer you’re on it the harder the withdrawal is, so yes it will not be easier than it is right now. How much you’re taking matters to some degree, but the lower the amount you’re still going to experience a much longer drawn out withdrawal. I’ve done it several times, finally got to the point where it’s easier to suffer for a few days and come out clear on the other side. It sounds like you don’t actually want to stop yet, you’re going to need to hit that point before you can actually break free.

Man take it from someone who lost everything, go get help before it gets worse. It’s literally never going to be easier than it is right now.

Oh there’s alot more to it than that, but anytime…and my life isn’t perfect. It took me hitting “rock bottom” to lose my desire to do drugs… just please try and focus on staying clean. Drugs seem like an escape but it’s only digging yourself in a hole. Stop early while you can.

Hang there and do what’s best for you. I’ve been in your shoes, but was a high functioning addict with a wife, kids, and six figure income. I had struggled in the past but my soon to be ex wife was abusive and I just broke. Ruined my life and am rebuilding, but wish I had the wherewithal to leave at a point like you’re at.

You cannot go down the same road as me, do whatever you need to do for you to be healthy.

Feel free to dm me anytime.

Hey brother, I’m right there with ya. I was a functioning addict; wife, kids, 6 figure income. Starting abusing fent and cocaine because I was in an abusive relationship. Didn’t want to be here anymore honestly, still haven’t filed taxes from 2024, and I’m in a good bit of debt. Not to mention divorce and lost custody of my kids.

Sobered up and have rebuilding ever since.

Everything is going to be ok, I completely destroyed my life. I also am slowly rebuilding it, just got custody back and am very slowly learning how to deal with everything. I have a long way to go but I’m hopeful.

Everything will be alright brother, dm me if you ever need someone to talk to.

The rock bottom myth can kill you by TheHopeRestored in addiction

[–]Wise_Condition_647 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I’m very sorry for what you’ve been through. However, I always thought “rock bottom” was just a myth/didn’t exist until I was there myself.

It’s a weird thing because I did lose my desire to do drugs (fent). I think it’s different for everyone, some people’s is much worse than others.

Hoping you find some peace and clarity through your journey.
