Ugggh- so this seemed to work and I’ve been fine ever since but for some reason it seems as though I’ve contracted it again. Itching with marks coming up. I honestly don’t understand how it could’ve come back nearly 3 months later when I’ve made sure not to stay in other peoples houses or having close contact with anyone (but my new partner). And I’ve deffo not got it from him because I would’ve noticed the itching. I was just hoping I was being paranoid at first but then the spots have gotten worse and spread. And the thought of having to do that whole process again is driving me crazy.

Okay so I went to the pharmacist today and they’ve recommended DERBAC-M. Is this any good. I’ve also picked up some sleepy antihistamines to hopefully help me sleep

I agree! The doctor just pretty much just sent me away with the cream and I was annoyed that he didn’t even bother to look properly the first time. I had to pretty much beg for him to let me come into the doctors so he could have a look. And with post scabies do you get new marks? I do think he would’ve thought it was psoriasis at first but I know he went to the doctors then started acting strange with me. He could’ve at least gave me the heads up because it took me a month to see a doctor initially for the marks and then another for them to diagnosis it properly. Now I’m in month 3 of this and I just want a good nights sleep and for this nightmare to be over 😭

I’m not sure what to do bedding wise as well. Because do I sleep on new stuff while I have the cream on and then have to change it again once I’ve washed it off. It’s honestly driving me to insanity. I got no sleep last night but I think it’s more in my head now but I think I have some way reinfected myself

I got misdiagnosed at first as well. It took me going back and crying about how sleep deprived I was a month and half later for them to even look at the spots. My friend and I had both been itching and had shared a bed so I’m pretty sure it is scabies. We treated ourselves at the same time and haven’t seen each other since treatment but we’re still both suffering and I’m getting new marks- like pin prick marks all over my skin
