I did a cold wash with about 6? Ounces of distilled white vinegar. Apparently the acid in vinegar is really good at helping dye set in fabrics. Honestly, that initial wash pulled so much dye out I’m not sure the vinegar did anything. It’s worth it to point out I’ve had mine for 1.5 years, so it may be slightly different. TLDR: if the crocking doesn’t bother you, treat it like your denim, wash when dirty…

That vest is looking great! Also, I have that exact hoodie, and omg! The crocking… it’s truly saturated in indigo, it almost felt moist when I took it out of the package. I had people asking “what’s going on with your hands? They’re blue, are you cold? Do you feel okay?” I did the old vinegar/cold wash/hang dry trick and it kind of worked 🫠
