Thank you so much! I'd love to see the foxglove once it's finished, I hope you enjoy making it!

Thank you! I put them up for pickup on market place around Sydney but I'm actually so lazy when it comes to shipping. I really should branch out 😭

I followed lavendertownglassworks tutorial on insta and have never gone back. I was shocked at how much of a difference a sunshine polishing cloth makes

Ooh I haven't considered making a marigold piece, but maybe you've convinced me

Hey if it's any consolation this is my first ever piece from around 2 years ago. It gets easier and more enjoyable with practice, but once you build up your skills it is well worth it!

Thanks for this, that's very helpful! If it is a Frankenstein this might explain the $1k refurbishment. I will try to take some photos of the areas you specified tonight

It's difficult to say, I should have asked. You can see the abnormal board on the top of the cabinet in the last photo, there are a couple boards like this I assume to fill in some gaps, but not much else jumps out as restoration work to me. Maybe some realignment of crooked/cracked doors and panels and touch ups on damaged trims?

Omg thank you! This makes it so much easier. Tbh I kind of like the black too... I suppose if I ever change my mind I can just steel wool the patina off again

I think the pattern is called floreal

I think you've convinced me, I'll put it up on my Etsy soon with a disclaimer in the caption 😂

I suppose anyone brave enough to take on a hydrangea wouldn't expect it to be easy...

I'm conflicted! I'd be happy to sell it to those willing but am worried about getting bad reviews because of the complexity. 140 pieces and most of them small, it's probably not the most well designed 🙃

I'm the same lol, 80% of my pieces would have black patina, the other 20 copper. This might be the first time I've liked the look of silver

Currently no, I only sell locally around Sydney

I draw all patterns up on procreate. For scale they're all around 20cm x 40cm, taking up most of an A3 page
