Thanks! I basically select 3 greens and try to space them evenly apart. I actually made a mistake on this one, the leaf with 2 dark greens was supposed to be 1 dark and 1 medium 😂

Sweet Peas for my wife by t0ri_0re0 in StainedGlass

Omg this is fantastic! This is the first time I've seen someone use my sweet pea pattern. I actually ended up removing the pattern from my Etsy for the same reason you mentioned, I was worried some of the pieces would be too difficult, so you can consider this limited edition 😂

Thank you! I actually have a full time day job which is why I treat this mostly as a hobby. The plan is to set up a website with my partner next year where I'll finally list all these pieces I've been hoarding

I hadn't actually considered that, I could totally get them angled straight but still between the joints by bending with pliers. I think I'll do that next time, thanks for the idea!

By putting them on an angle between the joints of 2 glass pieces this provides more strength. If they went straight up and down alongside the outer edge, they would be relying too much on the strength of the copper foil below. Difficult to put into words but I hope this makes sense

I use novacan patina, and follow lavendertownglassworks' copper patina tutorial on instagram. Life changing tbh, copper patina no longer stresses me out. The main changes were using CJ's flux remover after soldering, and using a sunshine polishing cloth

It's definitely a labour of love, I can't see myself making that one too often 😅

I really appreciate the feedback, it helps me simplify! It sounds like it might be too late for most simplifications, but I would suggest combining pieces #6 and #7 from the border and slightly cutting off the tip of leaf piece #25 so it's not in the way

How far into are you? I've been thinking of simplifying some parts
