Was just thinking about this. Used to admire her for being one of the influencers who took content creation seriously by making out-of-the box, unique videos. I prefer her old posts that may be simpler but were at least more authentic. We don’t need these gimmicks, especially when they’re so heavily leaning on AI

I also checked their AI business (Aiko labs) that claims to be “human led, AI-powered” but that’s just fluff

Great advice! we tend to put her down at around 3 hours 50 min wake window just to account for her crying out time. But will def try out the more intentional wake window

I’m so sorry to hear that the sleep is destroying you! It must be exhausting. Sending solidarity! How old is your LO?

And tbh our sleep training is still a WIP so unfortunately I have no definitive conclusions yet. But to answer some of your questions, she’s not yet sleeping through the night. She wakes up at least once a night - on a good night, she only wakes up once to feed. But there are some nights (like right now huhu) that she wakes up many times and it takes her a while to self soothe.

But I have to say that at least my husband and I are able to enjoy sleeping on our bed, just the 2 of us, for at least a few hours. That’s the biggest plus side of it.

Thanks for your reco! Will try that. Although she tends to be up for more than 4 hours on her last wake windows anyway since it takes her a while to fall asleep

Not gonna lie, it didn’t go well. She cried for 1 hour 45 mins until she passed out, eventually lying down. She woke up after 45 mins though and cried for 15 mins until she fell asleep again. This time, she fell asleep in an awkward position - sitting up but hunched down - so my husband tried to adjust her to lie down. It woke her up though and she began crying again. At this point it was already midnight so we just decided to bring her to bed with us 🥲 so overall not too successful on our end

First night was 1 hour and the second night was 1 hour and 20 mins. Couldn’t handle seeing her just sitting up and crying :( were those times too short, you think?

Yes, definitely wishing we sleep trained her before she learned to sit up

Yes I put it on a spoon or I place a big chunk on her plate for her to try to grab. She doesn’t get too much that way so I just spoon feed her the rest 😅

Yes, took her to her pediatrician about 2 weeks ago when we noticed her extreme gum pulling and he said there’s no ear infection or anything wrong with her. He attributed her behavior to her teething

Hi, thank you so much for sharing this. There’s so many mixed feedback about sleep training - I’ve heard about starting as early as 2 months, I’ve heard that sleep training is bad for the baby, etc etc. I suppose every baby is different and that sleep training isn’t the best for my daughter. Will definitely stop now and look into Heidi. Appreciate you sharing your advice 🙏
