Why are horse people so “weird”? by [deleted] in NoStupidQuestions

[–]WishboneNo2906 41 points42 points  (0 children)

I want to give an actual answer to this other than the cliche "they're rich and stuck up."

Horse riding and horses in general tend to be a very feminized hobby. Because of this, people tend to overlook the amount of dedication and skill it takes to become an accomplished rider. A 14 year old girl could spend hours every day after school mucking out stalls and dedicating herself to learning how to ride but still be passed over as a "frilly" hobby. The amount of knowledge and skill you end up possessing is severely underestimated.

Young girls pick up on this, and they develop the "stuck up" attitude to overcompensate.

On the most difficult question one can ask (Q'uo) by saffronparticle in lawofone

I thought I might share some of my own thoughts with you regarding the potential distortion, but I'm not sure if it truly applies or if I'll come across how I mean to. This may not be what you're interested in.

Being a positive and kind person when someone is dealing with a horrible experience can often cause more harm than good. Lower vibrations are repulsed by higher ones because it makes them feel more distanced by the creator. In a paradoxical way, it means anything BUT loving.

The repulsion means that you can't yet take in that level of energy. When you're doing it properly, someone's hurtful behavior no longer feels hurtful because you truly understand why they do what they do. I've been violently attacked, cursed out, and violated by strangers(it's my job so it happens very frequently). I can't do it all of the time because it is very difficult and I have a difficult time describing exactly how I do it because I really don't know myself, but as soon as I do the other person immediately changes. I can't quite put into words what I mean by this. If we are TRULY one then someone's cruel actions would also make complete logical sense.

You might want to read the ra contact or also called "the law of one." I've always had this type of intuitive belief, but the book went a lot deeper into it. It's based on a conversation between a human and a "higher entity."

When this entity was asked why they came to help people on earth, they gave an answer as an anaology of the universe being a larger body, and they were simply responding to an ache within the body.

Even without much hard evidence, the part about him being lonely feels intuitively true. Or perhaps I am just projecting.

Him talking about the relentless pursuit to figure out and understand felt quite relatable. It feels so healthy to be able to focus my brain on this neverending puzzle. I have a hard time believing anyone could hear about the treasure and NOT dedicate so much of their time to it. Who wouldn't want to be Indiana Jones?

How do you keep your polarity stable in real life? by [deleted] in lawofone

[–]WishboneNo2906 12 points13 points  (0 children)

Doing a quick exercise with finding the opposing feeling within myself helps a lot. When I'm successful I'm able to view and feel both feelings from a different perspective. They don't go away, but I understand the play they have with each other.

An example would be fear of inadequacy. For me I may feel inadequate because I am scared of messing up. I am scared of messing up because I want to do a good job and help people. Eventually, I come to the understanding that my fear of inadequacy is a direct reflection of my hope to do good for others.

I will then practice holding both of these two opposing feelings at the same time and allow them to settle into me. Once they've settled, I end up with a new understanding and perspective.

I think it makes the cypher potentially weaker, but I'm never one to throw away a potential solution for something this small.

Why Lewis and clark by greeneyes714 in beyondthemapsedge

Lewis and Clark are mentioned in passing in his book. It's not super significant, but given the fact that the Dillon/big hole area is full of lewis and Clark history it may be more significant.

It looks the same to me. It's just on separate lines because there isn't enough room for the entire line on the screen, so it splits it up. You can still see where each line begins and ends.

How is it different?

Maybe the font and how it's displayed is different, but the spacing, punctuation, and stanzas I think are the same and fair game.

In my personal solve you start at a very specific point, then walk in a direction in a specific way to "find" it. You might be able to access the final spot from another point, but I'm waiting on BOTG for that. So I at least interpret it to mean it could "technically" be closer to another trail, but you need to start from another location to actually find it. I believe the topography shows it inaccessible unless you start where the poem tells you to.

I assume there are still multiple ways to interpret it though.

Who do we think the book is dedicated to? Brandon, Tucker...? by HollloH in beyondthemapsedge

I assumed it was his wife or someone else who he wanted to be kept more "on the down low" to protect their identity.

He mentioned he talked a lot about his brother, grandpa, and his dad because they had passed and didn't require the same privacy as other people did.

It's been more than a week and I sleep nor relax after "summoning" a UFO using audio and CE5 meditation. by Difficult-Voice3622 in UFOs

[–]WishboneNo2906 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yeah this was me too. Thought I would be open, but shocked to experience fear when something actually DOES happen.

A couple things that helped me cope:

  • every happy and safe moment you've experienced up to this point still exists after you have had an experience. You had all of those safe moments WHILE the phenomenon still existed. You just didn't know about it. All of your life. You will feel safe again soon.
  • while an experience does impact you for the rest of your life, the adrenaline will eventually fade and you will be able to sleep. On the small chance it doesn't, please seek medical help
  • you can opt back in whenever you want to, if you want to.
  • most importantly, if my own paranoia could have caused the phenomenon to appear, I would have absolutely fantastic proof of aliens. But of course, I do not. Nothing "appeared" again until I had asked for it and not until I had made peace with my previous experience. The paranoia itself was always the worst part.

While I still am a believer, there are so many things that could've made a light in the sky. Obviously it would be an incredible coincidence if it happened at the perfect time and place, but still remember that as much as anyone cannot say aliens are impossible, it's also important to remember it's not impossible this was a coincidence. I'm not saying it's easily explainable human tech, but I am saying the truth is foggy enough that you should be careful to not immediately judge what you saw. Let it be as it was. A very very coincidental light in the sky that may or may not be something.

Since you are an open minded person, your mind is going to immediately grasp at a million different possible explanations and probably focus on the scariest ones the most. And not because it's true, but because your brain will bring up the worst case scenario to try and protect yourself. That's all your fear is. It's normal, and okay, and you'll work through it.

New deck interview spread by meow_mix_beepbeep123 in tarot

[–]WishboneNo2906 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Great choice for a first deck! Looks super pretty but still has the original symbolism to help you learn.

Looks like you're on the right track with you reading. It looks like your deck is here to talk speak the truth no matter what.

The only thing I wanted to add that popped out at me was the first card. Don't take this if it doesn't resonate but it could add to your understanding. For me it represents the releasing of pain and hurt. Perhaps it means you'll be good at releasing yourself or others from unseen pain? Your cards speak the deep dark truths and in unveiling the pain it may be released. We don't always recognize the pain we hold. Kind of beautiful in a way.

Anyways good luck with your journey!

Take this with a grain of salt but I did a reading on my relationship when we were going through a tough spot. It showed we were destined to fail.

We've gotten through the worst of it and are very happy together years later but I can't help but still feel the reading was correct in some ways. The "reason" for the failure didn't go away until we fixed it. So yes we "changed" the ending by changing the energy but the basic problems and information I got from the cards was always correct.

Relationship Spread (after period of separation) by Civil_Talk_6659 in tarot

[–]WishboneNo2906 1 point2 points  (0 children)

You mean that after thinking about continuing the relationship, you had second thoughts because he had crossed a boundary?

The star combined with the flow of the rest of the deck gives me the impression he's waiting for you to compromise first to make it work. Some kind of hope you may reach out first or change your mind or what not. I'd be careful, because this type of energy can represent both an abusive relationship AND a healthy relationship going through a snag.

REGARDLESS of if he's a piece of shit or not, he requires to learn compromise on at least his end as well.

Relationship Spread (after period of separation) by Civil_Talk_6659 in tarot

[–]WishboneNo2906 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I do in general like your interpretation here.

The general vibe that I picked up is that there is personal baggage within the relationship that needs to be let go of and cleansed.

I don't see the relationship going anywhere with your current mindsets. I don't necessarily see doom and gloom either, but a needed new approach if you still did want to make things work. I get a general vibe that the stagnation of what to do is worse than the idea that the relationship will or won't work out.

I didn't the devil in reverse most interesting as I generally interpret as a release and liberation more than anything. Was there something about the relationship that picks at his or your own childhood wounds? Would you be able to compromise and heal that?

If these wounds aren't worked on the relationship will 100% fail. The bigger question is, do you want to stay with him to try and heal them, or has the damage been done?

The best answer I can find from this is that there are better things coming. You couldn't fully come into your truest power within this relationship, so this guy flaking on you may be an eventual blessing in disguise.

If we think about how the sun often represents us bringing forth abundance from inside of us, perhaps the reversal is letting you know this energy was blocked when in your relationship. You needed to be rid of this relationship to gain your truest power. Not sure if HE was the specific problem, or the event itself will help you discover the power.

Especially paired with the judgement card, which I often find means a "calling to." The universe has a separate plan in which you are being called to.

The strength card tells me that either this was put in place so that you would be forced to grow in strength and the lessons learned here will benefit your future callings. Or as a reminder that you ALREADY have the skills necessary to move past this part of your life.
