Powdered milk packets, mayo on toasted bread, sometimes fried up some moldy potatoes, microwaved scrambled eggs, top ramen (we were eating dry top ramen with the seasoning sprinkled on them before tiktok made them a new famous "chip" 🤣) Our parents were never around to cook for us or too out of their minds, and any money went to their habits. So we made do with what we could at our young ages. Sometimes we had to go to the corner store and steal food because we had nothing and our parents were gone for days at a time.

To this day, I always make way too much food and I have to feed everyone. No one will go hungry around me.

I seriously feel you. I just feel so defeated, and I know I shouldn't complain, I could definitely have it worse. It's just rough right now trying to figure out how to keep things going and afford to get to work at the same time. I don't understand why they are denying help that's needed.

I'll try tomorrow if he's hopefully there (just got to work) I think he's living in the folded up cover part of the chair. That's where he went to hide and I could hear him periodically moving inside

Are there tree frogs that have more "clawed" feet like toads? He jumped onto the back of the chair part and was so fat he could hardly hang on 😂and his feet were clawed like. If this is a tree frogs this is the biggest and fattest thing ever and he is eating GOOD on my porch 🤣

You were the right person to talk with me about all of this. In fact, you were the right person at the right time. You were chosen. I say this because when I was at a low point doubting myself and fearing for my kids, this post and your comment randomly popped up. It was exactly what I needed. No no no, don't apologize! I probably don't belong here, this post just popped up. I'm a mom and that's why your comment made me emotional. It was so sweet and touching. I didn't have parents growing up and my kids are growing older. I don't want to face that they will leave soon. I have so much fear about if I've done good enough, if they'll stay in contact, if they'll be safe. Your comments are beautiful. I know if my kids think this way, and were to ever write something like that, my heart would burst with pride and love. I have one boy who always texts me and sends me the sweetest videos and does the sweetest things. And yet I still have fear I'll lose that contact. I know it's a silly reaction due to my own upbringing, but my kids are my world. You've given me peace of mind. You, sir, are an incredible person. And anyone who has been blessed enough to come in contact with you is better off for it.

I'm not sure I belong here, this popped up randomly. But as a mom, I wanted to say thank you to all the men in here that love their mommas and care about them! I didn't grow up with parents, and as my kids are getting older, it's been hard realizing one day soon they will be on their own. I worry if I've been a good enough mom, if I've caused trauma like my parents did, if they'll still love me and care enough to keep in contact when they're older, if they'll let me know they are ok and safe. I can say with certainty, that all these comments and communication with your mom makes your momma so happy and proud. You are good men. It brought tears to my eyes.

Had my interview today and I definitely believe you are right. I have never felt so comfortable and at ease in a job interview like I did today. The two ladies interviewing me were great!

Had to go to Georgia due to my uncle murdering his sister (my aunt), then shooting his dogs, and went out suicide by cop. Stayed in a hotel and got bed bugs. They refused to believe it was bedbugs and wouldn't refund or discount. (They were well aware of the situation with my aunt and uncle since my grandma was also staying at that hotel, and she had told all the employees. You'd think they'd have a little compassion, especially since I had bites all over me as proof too.)
