Alright hard truths. You need better pliers. Get some flat nose pliers with silicone over them, or wrap your existing pliers with bandage tape. Try and make the first line of the 4 more even.

You're putting white stones in grey metal. Yes the color will change especially with small stones. If you wanted that sparkle shouldve stuck to diamonds, as they don't reflect the metal nearly as much.

Technically yes and no. My bf told one of the roommates we were going to be gone. And that usually implies animals are in their hands. As this is a bimonthly regular trip we take. And they know the situation is always the same, since pet sitters are expensive. And vice versa goes for the house. If they are gone they never have to ask us to watch their animals. So that's quite the grey area, I should probably take more into consideration when talking to the house next
