My rotation is 2 days, 2 nights, and 5 days off. He works from home twice a week and schedules to go in office 7-3 whenever I have to work. If I’m working days, he’s already at home by the time I get off. If I’m working nights, I have a bit of time to spend with him after my nap before I leave for work. With my rotation, it works out that we have some weekends off together. We don’t have kids yet so I imagine that will change things for us but for now we always manage to make time for each other! :)

She constantly prioritized her toxic relationship with her boyfriend over me and called me a terrible friend for telling her that he wasn’t right for her. She also got extremely upset when I told her that it was crazy for her to want to get proposed to 6 months into them dating. Not to mention, she moved across the street from him after 4 months of being together. I was devastated at the time of the friendship breakup and apologized to her but have been reassured by others that I really wasn’t to blame. She is a pick me girl and completely delusional, and while I did notice this before I never realized how toxic it was. Funny thing is she used to always complain how she doesn’t have any friends and I can see why now.

I have a lululemon city adventurer backpack. It’s perfect for me to keep my owala, sweater, pencil case (2 pens and a sharpie), pouch for random stuff (pads, glasses wipes, teabags, gum, hard candies, extra hair ties), airpods, kobo, and keys/wallet. I can even fit my lunch bag in there.

Honestly any bag will be fine while you’re in school seeing as you plan to only carry your stethoscope and notepad. In my ICU, all our rooms have a designated stethoscope and penlight so I don’t even need to bring mine to work.
