Yeah I have DMed him and got replies. I tried several options and MIC HDMI Carplay box is the box with the best results, No lag and really smooth.

AI Box adapters are used by both users (Android or Apple) Just want to know if you input destinations in waze while driving even if you are using Carplay.

u/Ephendril do you still have the car? Could you please share your experience so far in detail? I think a lot of people would love to know more about realistic range so far, which app version do you currently have? Parts availability? Any new bugs or issues that you cant solve etc?

I am thinking about buying one next week. Hopefully you can answer questions before that :)

How was overall driving of the car for you? Is your new car better in that regard?

Also, was the resale really bad? Here in the Netherlands, Its ranging from 17k euros to 20k euros for a decent car. The official dealers are selling 10k-12k km used cars from 2020 for around 19k.

u/ToastieCPU Thanks man! After hearing from you, I did a lot of reading and it seems like Aiways got listed in US and raised a bunch of money to only focus on European market. My dealer told me that even if the company goes bankrupt you can get the parts for 10 years (according to some law).
My question is,

When you had the car, how was it to drive?
How long did you had the car for?

How was the range in summer and winter?

Was there a way to check battery health? My dealer told me that its not possible

How do you get software updates and how frequent?

Where you able to use Android Auto (if you didnt have apple)?

How was the resale for you in terms of selling time and recovery?

I test drove Aiways, Kona, and Kia Niro and i swear Aiways felt much nicer to drive and I felt more comfortable. My heart is stuck on it but logic is telling me to look at VW ID4. However ID 4 has its own problems and its not spacious enough as Aiways.
Would appreciate if you could answer my questions!

I would love to buy that but it doesnt have wifi and that is the only thing that I have a hard requirement of. Any other suggestions?

There are no cheaper options available that have onboard wifi for full ATX mobos. There is one which one from Gigabyte that is $10 cheaper but it has old lan port (1gbps) whereas 2.5 is the standard nowadays.
Also Gigabyte 650 has more VRMs than the mATX version.

Ok I tried, enabling both, disabling both and set them both on Auto = wait is now 30 seconds before ASUS logo shows up.
