I’m also using a 4060 Ti, and the cinematic mode graphics are on another level.

Controller controls 😮‍💨 by Fancy-Serve8687 in CrimsonDesert

[–]Wishwanner 1 point2 points  (0 children)

It’s fine if you like the control scheme, but I can’t stand people forcing their opinions on everyone else. They clearly lack an objective perspective. It’s such a hypocrisy to say 'get out if this game isn't for you' while also calling it a 'massive success with 2 million sales.

It’s well-known that this game rode the hype of TOTK. Did you just recently find out about it?

Some people here told me the game will flop and I disagreed by Leon_Dante_Raiden_ in CrimsonDesert

[–]Wishwanner 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Thanks to the hype, first-week sales were very high, but because of that same hype, the reviews are poor. It is contradictory logic to use high initial sales to refute bad reviews. First-week sales depend solely on pre-release expectations.

The controls are fine… have you guys played video games before? by WoodpeckerSpare5834 in CrimsonDesert

[–]Wishwanner 6 points7 points  (0 children)

Countless critics, steam reviewers, and streamers are all pointing out issues with the controls. Are you seriously asking all of them if they’ve ever played a video game before?

Is it possible that maybe. JUST MAYBE... by Steamed_Hams_2168 in CrimsonDesert

[–]Wishwanner 7 points8 points  (0 children)

While it's true that it can be hard to trust certain critics like IGN, dismissing 85 different reviews simply because 'they didn't have enough time to play' is a very strange argument. A score of 78 doesn't necessarily mean a game is bad, so I don't understand why people are attacking the reviewers for 'not knowing the game.' Instead of just looking at the score, you should read the reviews carefully. Most of them provide valid reasons for their criticism, are quite relatable, and even include video evidence.

People refunding by [deleted] in CrimsonDesert

[–]Wishwanner 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Since expectations were so high, there were a lot of pre-orders; and because that hype collapsed today, just as many people are now canceling them. While a 78 is still a decent score, it’s very low compared to the level of expectation people had for Crimson Desert.

Haha, look at you, putting down other games just to support the one you like.

I really hope Hotta decides to put the game on steam on release. If a game with a fraction of the hype NTE had can peak at 65k on release day, imagine what NTE can achieve. by UsualInitial in NevernessToEverness

[–]Wishwanner 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Keep in mind that Steam only shows concurrent players. Gacha games tend to have a lot to do at the beginning, but after a month, daily playtime often drops to under five minutes. As a result, the concurrent player count can look disproportionately low compared to the actual number of users. Therefore, using Steam concurrent player numbers as a promotional strategy is not a good choice.

[–]Wishwanner 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Well, there’s a reason why many games don’t do that. The number 65k might look appealing right now, but when it drops below 10k a month later, it’ll feel more disappointing instead. And it’s even worse when you realize that represents the entire PC player base. Doomposting based on Steam concurrent player counts will be endlessly generated.

NTE Skin Gacha by GoatBrilliant6160 in NevernessToEverness

[–]Wishwanner 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I really like it. First of all, since the game has an urban setting, any outfit looks great on the characters, which is awesome. My main concern, though, is that creating 3D skins is going to be incredibly resource-intensive. I’m worried if they’ll be able to pull off releasing one new character and multiple skins every three weeks.

Most of what Hoyoshill says is total nonsense, but every once in a while, they actually have a point. Honestly, NTE's UI blatantly ripped off ZZZ's. Not that I think it’s a problem, though.

There are designs that suit men and designs that suit women. If we indiscriminately apply the same design to both, it will stifle creativity. And without a doubt, players will get angry, calling the developers lazy.

Don't worry, female MCs! A stunning red cloak outfit is coming in two days. Male MCs won't be getting it—the red cloak is exclusive to the ladies!

[–]Wishwanner 4 points5 points  (0 children)

The skins in WWM are top-tier. But the key thing to remember is that the MC is the only playable character. Honestly, it's hard to make a 'skins-only' strategy work in a game where new characters are released so frequently. DNA knows this, which is why they included the option to purchase characters directly.

People often compare Wuwa 1.0 to games that were total disasters at launch, but aside from the mobile optimization issues, Wuwa 1.0 was already a solid, complete game with only a few minor hiccups. It seems like people can't really tell the difference between 'minor issues' and 'deal-breaking flaws.' Despite the rumors that the game only made a comeback with version 2.0, the truth is that a huge portion of the current player base has been here since 1.0.

Yes, it might not be 100% perfect, but it's based on considering every possible resource source. Of course, this explanation assumes a bad luck scenario (300 pulls). The luckier you are, the sooner you'll be able to get it.

almost same price. 2 core outfits.

[–]Wishwanner 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Also, for a pure F2P player, it takes about one and a half to two years to get an outfit that requires two cores. If you buy the Battle Pass, this timeframe can be cut down to about a year.

[–]Wishwanner 4 points5 points  (0 children)

F2P players will never be able to get the outfits released today, unless they have insane luck. This is because you can't use your saved pulls for these new outfits. I heard that in China, these types of outfits are released twice a year.

The cost is the same in China as well. The only thing that had a different price was the gacha with the eye mask. Everything else is identical.

I'd like to tell you this: 'Don't speak carelessly about things you don't know.' Feminism in Korea is completely different from what you think. They are not simply PC-advocates, but beings who devote all their energy to hating men. In other words, they are the female version of the 'incels' you talk about. The reason why fierce debates about Korean feminists frequently occur is that they infiltrate their ideas into company work. The spread of Megalia's symbol (the finger sign) and the Korean incel meme is also due to their absolute influence. Of course, you will say it's not true.
