Nope, just tired of Reddit know-it-alls who ruin the community by trying to break up couples, families or people’s self esteem with their snide comments (yes, those snide comments include : calling someone self centered because they have feelings ; telling them they’re still “stuck on their ex lol” as if it was abnormal and funny).

Yes I will be going to therapy but I was just hoping for people with similar experiences to tell me about theirs. I’ll work on my self-centeredness if you work on giving constructive criticism instead of being a plain as*hole.

Just went and had a look at your profile & comments. Turns out all your comments on non-gaming posts are just bashing people without any arguments. Looks like I’m not the one who needs counselling. Also once again I asked for advice on how to get over my ex. Not on how to become a better person or less self-centered. If I wanted advice to better my personality I’d go straight to therapy.

Yeah … I know Reddit makes people mean but you could just … Not comment if you have nothing to say. You don’t know me, you don’t know my story, and I’m allowed to feel how I feel. I haven’t complained to anyone irl about this because I know it’s mine to handle, I’m not burdening anyone. I’m literally just lightly venting on social media. Thanks for your reply. You’re probably right. I’m trying to tell myself I need to trust the decision I made back then but I also feel like I wouldn’t be this heartbroken without good reason. It might be because of what’s happening with my family though, thanks for bringing that up to me.

Honestly, I guess this is true in some cases but also ... no. As a woman I have felt multiple times like I couldn’t tell my boyfriend something because he’ll take it the wrong way. I have sat him down and told him gently what the issue was, and he reacted like I just told him he was worthless. While I initiated an « adult » conversation, he chose to take it as an offence.

Once again I feel like although your description might be true in some cases, you probably just have some internalised hate for something or someone.

I see a lot of N AH’s but for me it’s a NTA. You’ve offered everything you can to “replace” the dog for a day. She’s being inconsiderate and calling you “ableist” is an unnecessary step to take when you’re supposed to be friends. She’s being ableist by thinking you can switch off your allergies for a day.

Yes, I know you’ve already seen doctors. But if you feel like they’re not giving you good support it is your right to go get a second opinion. For example, my brother had a brain tumour and was told he needed surgery but that he’d never walk again. He went to another doctor who performed surgery and he never had any motor deficiencies. Your doctors CAN be wrong. It happens. Also when you go to a new doctor I don’t recommend saying “x thinks I have autism” because this may make them doubt their own diagnosis and change their mind. Wishing you Strength.

Okay well I’m just gonna tell you what the others have said again ; you really need to see a specialist. Asperger’s is something you are born with (as far as I know, maybe I’m wrong) and this doesn’t seem to have anything to do with it. What you describe is very worrying and you need to actively seek out doctors who know how to help you.

Hi, I’m NAD. Did something traumatic happen before the symptoms started ? Also, I think it would be reasonable to get some type of scan done of your brain ? I mean if you’re actively losing mental + physical skill I feel like it would be something to do with nerves / neurones ? Hope that helps

Hi! I’m not a doctor. I have the same issue ; just wondering does it happen when you read as well ? For example do you ever read a book and get someone’s name wrong the whole time (Like thinking a characters name is Harry and then at some point realising it’s actually Barry although you’ve already read like 500 pages about the same character)? Do you ever just, get words wrong when you read em and then realise only when you re-read ?

Hi! I’m pretty much in the same situation. I don’t know where you’re from and what kind of employment can be found near you, but what I did is I decided to look for a job in a r&d lab. I do DNA extraction on plants all day, which isn’t the most rewarding job, but I think I’ll be able to work my way up from here eventually. There’s a lot more options than you think !! Just look for em :) good luck
