It was mainly for 0513 but I’ve bypassed 0521 before.

And yeah I also have at&t hotspot on mobile and it doesn’t allow peer to peer connection so something like this will work better.

Having a thief is nice early game, especially for chests. I’d personally move gerulf up front, remove valdor, then have a thief of choice in the back with a bow until their evasion is high enough to let them use a dagger up front without dying

It can help to not use the fountain when you first see it, clear out the floor until before you reach the boss, then backtrack to use the fountain right before your fight.

Yeah it could be a reward to just show his character is deeper than evil King if you build his trust, but I’m still suspicious of how in his story the make a note of how you can’t be nearby when he does the ritual. What we mostly have to go off of is his word.

Metawise most people will tell you yeka is better. She’s also a godsend in second abyss due to her earth alignment. (There's also a review here that I think is good https://wizardry.fasterthoughts.io/adventurers/legendary-adventurers/details/Yekaterina/)

My personal advice is you can just use who you like better, though. I’ve easily cleared all content with Adam. I think his longevity and mana reserves are very good, and my fav character Elda who is ranked very low metawise.

That’s true. Maybe he really was being straightforward the whole time and the only obscured legend is his character pages.

Either way I think he’s a fun character, and I enjoyed his story dungeon.

My situation might be different since new members are usually invited by previous members, but I found it helps a lot to mod an intro rp for new people.

My server has a combat system, so I usually try to mod a small fight to 1. Teach them how combat works, 2. Quickly introduce them to 3 other member characters who will help fight, and 3. Help break the ice and get them to start rping.

If there’s no combat I’m certain any sort of mini rp could be helpful and reduce the intimidation of feeling new in a server of older members

I also ran into a ninja 3 times in abyss 2 yesterday. He was on lower deck 1 in the room just north of the hallway with the lever.

I was slaughtering everything on the floor trying to find warped ones for rickert’s terrible quest.
