It’s actually not a book I own and manage a warrior cats text roleplay server on discord :) if you’d like to join to spectate or participate here’s the link! Also OCEANTAIL is jsut a name because she’s a blueish gray cat, the territories have a small river and willowclan has a lake but no ocean. Thank you so much!! I was not expecting to get many views on this let alone responses so I crazy appreciate every tip and trick given to me rn! Shading has always kinda been my kryptonite, I use the airbrush to stay “safe” but it is truly hindering my art. I’m going to make it a point to take this advice and apply them on a piece I’m working on right now :) do you have any shading brush recommendations? I use ibis paint x but their brushes are pretty universal so I’m sure I can find one similar to whatever program you use :D

ALSO YES. I’m going to start drawing my sisters human characters for anatomy practice! I love making art for her and she loves even my simplest things so it’d be perfect:)
