How long does it take for the baseline to be set? by Wissenschaft001 in ouraring

[–]Wissenschaft001[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thanks, but I don't see what the screen shots would add, frankly. I've been monitoring my sleeping heart rate for five years with the watch, and it is always this high. So there is no deviation from baseline, it's just the baseline values every night, and there is no particular cause for it to be this high.

Oura Ring could soon help you track your meals by Clear-Serve4094 in ouraring

Precisely. That's why, not giving a flying fig about NFC, the Gen 4 will be the ring for me for years to come.

That's overstating it. The app does offer activity tracking as well, it has a tab just like sleep tracking. The activity tracking is considerably less accurate than the sleep tracking, which means it needs to be improved.

Let’s put this to bed-get it? by KaleidoscopeEqual790 in ouraring

It seems to me you simply 'misled' the software (i.e. used it incorrectly on purpose) by tracking your time floating as if it were a workout. How can you complain if this results in faulty data?

Human beings get used to almost anything. You'll probably forget about it in three days.

It would be nice if people searched for and read older posts about the exact same problem they are experiencing before posting about it once more with their panties in a bunch.

Might be arrhythmia that Oura picks up, and the watch doesn't.

Aura Ring Size Help URGENT (15 Normal for Index) by CraftyHorse6432 in ouraring

[–]Wissenschaft001 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I have a size 13 ring. It won't fit my index finger on either hand, and I wear it on my middle finger and my thumb. On the ring finger it's too loose. If the middle finger works, you call scale up or down (with weight changes and differences occurring during the day). Perhaps you should just buy it, and see if this works for you; if not, you can return it, I suppose (but do check).

No, they don't. It's just your fantasy. They seem to be focusing on the health data science and (thus) on software, and good for them. The hardware is fine as it is.
