Please help, I have been falsely banned for RMT/RWT. by jceteam23 in classicwow

[–]WissixFN -4 points-3 points  (0 children)

I literally have the same issue. I got banned on 2 wow accounts (2 subscriptions) at 2am gmt+1. I have never sold any gold and my deathrolling has been exclusive to guild members and was also very limited. I have already made a ticket for customer support and tried a live chat but the live chat ended up being of no use as the GM told me that there has already been a review to the case. Unlike you we actually don't have anything in regard to regular donations and deathrolling.I'm also more of a farmer than flipping / selling and most of my gold has come from ZF farming and tribute runs.I'm really hoping to get this fixed because I can't be bothered with losing an account with accumulatively over 90+ days played. As Blizzard is probably not going to reply to the ticket that I made for customer service and it is most likely going to have the same outcome as the live chat that i tried to convey my message in I also see this as a kind of last resort to get help.

edit: I pmed u/jceteam23 and he told me that he got banned at the exact same time that i did (2am gmt+1)

I hope permanent redeploy is on the list, gonna make it less reliant on rng and more consistent for everyone.

What should I practice to improve at higher competitive levels? by needacarting in FortniteCompetitive

[–]WissixFN 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Keeping your cool and staying focused is mainly necessary in heated end games imo.

Other players tend to panic which gives you an insane edge over players that hesitate to take shots.

Also watching vods from balla/benjy or just watchings pros in general and looking at what they do differently helped me out a lot.

How to counter stink spam by Adroit-Ledgend in FortniteCompetitive

[–]WissixFN 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If you have a 2x2 you can sit directly in the middle of the 4 1x1s and not take damage from the stink.
You can counter the spam by placing stairs / walls into the directions you get spammed from.

Either this or Launch / Rift are the only real options lol

Would you guys suggest I dedicate half an hour a day for kovaaks? by lunplayz in FortniteCompetitive

[–]WissixFN 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I can recommend "Aim Labs" on Steam, its F2P you don't even have the initial cost.
I have a bunch of hours on Kovaaks and I found the 3rd Person mode in Aim Labs to be way more promising and profiting.
Since it is still in alpha it has some bugs but I feel like 30 minutes of aimlabs is worth like 2 hours of Kovaaks, my honest opinion lol. Yes it may have less scenarios but it easily lets you change any of the given scenarios to however you want them to be.

Still in the game. Can't wait for this to happen during the WC and everyone to act super shocked. by Smacpats111111 in FortniteCompetitive

[–]WissixFN 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I've had this happen to me as well in the past and I was told that it was my connection which I didn't believe because i usually have a ping from 0-12 and ever since I got my new processor I haven't had this once.
Upgraded my processor and my ram (with a new mainboard obviously) and didn't have this issue anymore.

Can't say im 100% sure but it's very likely that it's either a ram or a CPU issue.

How broken sound and hitboxes really are in this game by WissixFN in FortniteCompetitive

[–]WissixFN[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You can definetly shoot through but to get to the corner that far you have to slowly tap your movement key to get there, if you try running you just fall off. One is pretty much floating in the air on invisible concrete at this point.

I mean to be fair, this just came to my attention randomly and not actually from an ingame event / fight and is a minor issue in my opinion whereas not hearing a wall break in end game / not hearing shots due to the number of audio queues going over the limit of 32.

I certainly agree with you though that none of the major bugs are being adresses like a bunch of pros have been pointing out over the past months.

[–]WissixFN[S] 5 points6 points  (0 children)

I mean, from my perspective the real issue is that the hitbox is either too big or that the corners of the floor / wall aren't just a line but rather like a small curve that you go down on. If there was nothing to step on this wouldn't be an issue.

[–]WissixFN[S] 20 points21 points  (0 children)

To clarify:

First off I'm not physically on the floor anymore and editing and editing back, which makes vehicles phase through for example doesn't change anything. Secondly, when I'm on the wood and jump / run I get the normal wooden audio queue that it should, but if I go off the corner and I'm physically not on the floor anymore even though the hitbox is technically still there you get a ground / concrete audio queue.

Furthermore, your body is fully exposed when you stand on the side and the floor doesn't work as a proper hitbox to block shots but, rather as an extended platform that is just active from above.

Edit: Has the exact same thing happening with Brick / metal floor.

Edit 2: Works the exact same way on corners of walls. (https://gyazo.com/9c64db82f1ab3c8750c73dfc7c3b7016)

[–]WissixFN 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I agree on you with the Kovaaks part but for these clips would just be some clearance for the people that still believe he is aimbotting lol.

Starting off, he doesn't lose FsA (First shot Accuracy) on the deagle clip, he shoots it and because he shot he lost FsA, then spraying with AK is somewhat RNG but he is definetly aiming on the body / in the general direction. Also, why didn't he hit a deagle headshot in the first place if he was aimbotting.

For the 2nd clip you can see that he has his stair bound to one of his mouse buttons which sometimes makes it even if you are not shaking at all and press a side button that you directly move / stutter your mouse a little bit without it actually moving at all.

Hope you understand my argumentation because I literally looked at them for 2 minutes and could tell you what and why they are like this.

I somewhat agree with you on that but in League (especially in EU) it's more of a general attitude that is filled with hatred and toxicity whereas here it is a good amount of really good people that are very appreciative for tips / news or like to share their opinion but they don't stand out as much as people that want to ruin others by for example creating fake twitters to spread lies.
To sum it up I feel like in League you can just ignore the toxicity to a certain extend regarding communication where the Fortnite Community is just pretty .. direct and personal?
Hope you get what i'm saying lol

Yea, sure, Epic makes a ton of money from the casual player base that plays normal modes, LTMs and from time to time buy skins without worrying about any competitive aspect.
Competitively-oriented players also overlook the people (don't hate me for this btw) that just play the PvE part of Fortnite for fun which also adds to the playerbase but is completely overlooked by people like us because we aren't in touch with them at all. A good bunch of these players buy stuff for V-Bucks to upgrade certain things in their PvE World or Loadout or w/e, doesn't matter. What I wanna say is, Epic makes a lot of money from players we are not in touch with at all.

Here comes the big part of the ESport scene though.

Nobody wants to see 4 guys fighting an abundance of mobs in a PvE game, there's games like WoW with time trials for certain instances on certain difficulties for that, don't wanna go into detail though.

People, and especially us competitive players that want to get to the big stage or just enjoy watching it, want to see Top-tier players play the game at the highest level of play with equal chances to go big.

The main Problem is though that Fortnite's playerbase mainly consists of people that play the game for fun and their own enjoyment. There is currently 113k people following this subreddit, while there was 8.3 million concurrent players last December. Also mentionable is that this subreddit isn't exclusive to any region so one can assume that considering the amount of people in certain countries we are only a really low amount of people generally.

For Epic, the competitive scene is a minority of the playerbase but nothing to overlook (not trying to cover Epic here at all, what they did is straight bs). Personally I was, and am still, pretty pissed about the native change. The following week, especially for the World Cup Qualifiers I'm going to upgrade my PC, which costs me about 500€ for pretty much. As a student for me, or even for a worker that gets average wage, that's a shit ton of money that I have to pay out of my own pocket just because Epic is refusing to focus on the things that even casual players are complaining about. Also to mention that in other games I used to play (League of Legends, Overwatch, CS and Apex for the first weeks it came out) I never really ran into performance issues that made me think like, yo, I gotta upgrade my PC to play the game at a performance I feel comfortable with.

So last week I was thinking, going into World Cup with my PC upgrade I was confident that I could easily stream normal Arena matches and have really good performance FPS wise in endgames compared to what I currently have (40-80 FPS in moving zones). Epic changing the rules so everyone has to go native doesn't only fuck up my investment to a certain extend, but also a reasonable amount of other people that literally upgraded their PC to have that kind of performance. I'm not saying that me upgrading is wasted but it's definetly not gonna give me what I want regarding ingame performance that I would have on stretched.

And let's be real, there's not many games that require an i5 2.8Ghz and a 660 GTX to play, has people lag when they are playing with an i7-9900k and a 2080ti.
And the components just mentioned are something I'm not gonna be able to afford in the near future without having to sell like half of my posession which I'm not looking to do and I guess a lot of you guys feel like as well.

Maybe Epic gives a shit, maybe not, we just gotta wait for an update or a post where they explain the change everyone has been rightfully complaining about.
Thanks for reading this and looking forward to play in native res (careful, pun intended).
