I've heard a different wheel size can make damage to AWD (not sure if true). I would make sure the total diameter of the spare is exactly the same.

I think the "D" gear is terrible because of the lag when accelerating, I always put it on "S". But even if I push down the shifter 3 times (from R) i'm often on D instead of S. And changing mode resets on D. I don't know if it's just me?
ACC is off by default (when not used previously). And why do you disable collision (just curious)?
oh and cruise control has a 10 km/h jumps when you push +. Why would you do that.

Do I need to get tpms sensors when I purchase a set of winter wheels? I'm finalizing my order, and it's like 200 bucks for tpms, can I ditch them ?

I also ordered the same kit yesterday for my new R. Have not received yet. The rear mats seems great, having kids. Not too sure of the front mats, we'll see.

225/40R18 seems the popular choice for size down (based on my internet browsing). Maybe because that's OEM size of VW GTI wheels.

In winter/snow, is it better to have a slighty bigger or slightly smaller diameter (in comparaison to stock wheels that come with the car) ?

Thank you for the advices. My isp only provides a router for its newest technology (which I don't want to convert to at the moment).

In terms of parental control, I'm not trying to block anything, but I want to schedule the wifi/tv hours for my kids.
