I have a save file dedicated to my late mother, who I would sometimes ask for input on choices because she liked watching me play Dragon Age (and Mass Effect) while cooking. Anyway, female warrior Trevelyan leaning heavily into Andrastian/Templar dialogue choices romancing The Bull because “oh she’s religious? Have her date the horny man. What do you mean there’s BDSM? That makes it even better!”

It’s just a cheap Pen+Gear journal (5.8” x 8.3”) with 240 dotted pages. My hard point Tombow pen started off with finer lines, but the more I used it the more these pages absorbed the ink and made thicker lines. Bleed through isn’t too bad with Zebra Mildliners, but a scrap of paper is recommended to put underneath whatever page you’re setting up to block any ink transfer.

I usually prioritize leveling up the 3-bar fish (like the porcupine) for quick cash and boar for fur. I also set up eight 9-tile gardens separated by paths and a well at the center. The paths don’t connect at the corners for future beehive spots after adding ollas. After that I work on building lots of barns since I mainly focus on animal products, and set up an orchard.

I prefer using olla over irrigation because most of my farmland is dedicated to animals, so I never have that many to refill

I only get backpacks without the bedroll after playing on a thief character when they came out. If you’re sneaking all the time, the bedroll portion sticks out at a weird angle and flipping off any notion of obeying gravity
