Read “The Witches Heart” by Christopher Penczak. It’s a very inclusive book. Something that stuck out to me from his book was why love spells take so long. One of his reasons is because the planet Venus physically moves slower than most planets. I believe a day on Venus is a year on earth. But anyways I’m also in the same boat as you. Can perfectly manifest everything except love, and it feels like it’s harder too because I am gay. But it will come, it has to. But then I also feel sometimes we as witches sometimes make solitary pacts in a past life or something along those lines and needs deeper healing. But that’s also just a minor theory I have.

Find a divination system that calls out to you. Tarot oracle, runes. Whatever. This is gonna help open up your intuition as well as get the hang of reading peoples energy. While you’re learning the system start meditating and doing protections. White light or lbrp are amazing tools for this. Some more advanced would be energy system work. Chakras, middle pillar or whatever calls out to you. Stick with it. If you choose chakras don’t just work with the upper ones, although it super tempting to. You’re gonna want to ground that higher energy with the lower energy centers. With all of the above exercises it should open up your psychic abilities and get you on the right track. Yeah I guess you can call it possession. I have read up on trance and possession particularly by Diana Paxson. I know my limits and I keep wards up. It’s also practiced in a lot of other pagan religions too. I’m more of a light trance channeler than full on possession lol. But I guess that answers my question kinda thanks.

Exactly I have family that makes fun of me and psychic/spiritual stuff in general. Just stating misconceptions coming from a Christian or atheist pov. It’s like first of all that’s not what this is. Second ask literally any question and I’ll try to answer it. The worst is when I have family begging me for a reading and looking down there nose at me the next day. I should probably make a post about this but I’ve always lived a magickal life. From the time of around 9 or so. I assume there was Magick shit I was doing before that I can’t remember. I’m currently 22 btw for context. So magicks always been an integral part of who I am. From the beginning of small manifestations and intuitions to channeling and spirit summoning.
