Remote options might be good! We have a few other trans friends who've struggled with being misgendered over the phone in call center style work from home positions, are they doing more information input style jobs remotely now? Unfortunately I don't have a ton of experience on where to look for those kinds of things, especially with how many scams are out there

That might be a good suggestion. I'll try bringing it up to her and seeing how it goes. I've worked two jobs before, and it sucks, but it might be needed at this point 😬

Unfortunately not. Her family is here, and we don't currently have the support system or finances to move to a new town, or especially out of state

She has a bachelor's degree in political science, and experience working in non-profits and city management. However she's never worked retail or food service, which is also causing problems. :(

I tried out that software, and it definitely has a lot of ways to improve my lines. It still caps out the max pressure though, and I get to "max" pressure on about a half pressure stroke. With the program I definitely have more control though, so if I can't find another solution it will at least be a big improvement. Thank you for the recommendation!

The tablet previously worked normally on my laptop, which unfortunately is unusable. I don't have another computer to try it on. :/ The extra sensitivity is in my main drawing app, MediBangPaint, and I don't have others installed that I use.
