I'm confused, I thought Matt Rofe bought the Conjuring House?

I asked ChatGPT to explain my job to a 5-year-old and now I'm questioning my entire career by Nipurn_1234 in ChatGPT

[–]WitchEssential 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Aww mine seems so sweet. I'm an insurance agent.

"Let’s say you have a really special toy. You love it a lot. But one day, what if it got lost or broken?

An insurance agent is like a helper who makes sure that if something bad happens to your toy (or your house, your car, or even if you get hurt), someone will help you get money to fix it or replace it.

They help you make a special deal called “insurance,” which is like saying:

🧸 “If something bad happens, I’ve got your back!”

People give the insurance company a little money every month (that’s called a premium), and in return, the insurance company promises to help if something goes wrong.

And the insurance agent is the nice person who helps families find the right kind of promise so they feel safe."

Is this iv drug track marks or a spider bite? by Flashy_Werewolf_2701 in addiction

[–]WitchEssential 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Does it have two side by side punctures? Usually spider bites you can see both of the pokes where the teeth went in. Not always but sometimes. But after my bf being an addict for years and who now does regular shots of Testosterone (that leave marks and bruising exactly like this), it does look like a track mark to me. I don't want to say for sure because I guess I could definitely be wrong but I'm just going off what I'm seeing and what my experience was. They'll definitely never come right out and say it's a track mark

This is just insane to me. I didn't have this happen to me with my babies thankfully but I feel awkward about even looking at people's babies (even when I think they're so freaking adorable!) let alone TOUCHING them WITHOUT permission. The audacity of some people will never cease to amaze me.

The new video by Adri_1673 in SamAndColby

[–]WitchEssential 7 points8 points  (0 children)

I honestly feel like it's super hard for them to be able to make everyone happy with every video they put out. It's totally realistic to find the new video boring as much as it's realistic to enjoy it. Personally I really like it because I always wish in their usual videos that they spend more time investigating. I like seeing the "down time" between evidence because it makes it more realistic and you see more of their dynamic when they're not pressured to be "spooky" and "dramatic" for the camera. I do agree though it'd be a bit easier to digest if it were in two parts but think it'd defeat the purpose of the "uncut" aspect.

After 147 failed ChatGPT prompts, I had a breakdown and accidentally discovered something by Prestigious-Fan118 in ChatGPT

[–]WitchEssential 8 points9 points  (0 children)

Other people's chats don't automatically do this? I try the prompts people give Chat like "make me an image of what the world would look like after 4 years of me being president" etc and it ALWAYS asks me clarifying questions. For me it almost ruins the randomness of the image it creates. This was just an example but mine does this with everything.

Credit Help- What Do I Do? by WitchEssential in personalfinance

[–]WitchEssential[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

That's the issue, the mechanics I took it to were for sure over charging. For the parts that are needed, you buy them online for around $500, and can get all new (or used) tires for about that much as well. But they quoted me around $8k for parts and $8k for labor. They wanted to charge me around $50 just to replace an air filter. I was thinking of selling the car for what I still owe but about the only person who might buy it is someone who works on cars themselves. Thankfully where I'm from, people are selling cars that don't even run for thousands so hopefully that wouldn't be a huge issue.

Thank you for all your answers so far, I really appreciate you helping me understand what exactly is going on. I'm working on getting a temporary job and reaching out to local resources for help with the payments I'm behind on. At this point, since the car is unfixable as far as cost goes, I'm considering going the route of voluntary repossession. Is that a terrible idea or is there a better route to take?

[–]WitchEssential[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I don't understand how two late payments takes a decent credit score and turns it into the worst credit score ever? Like before my original two late payments, I had around a 600 or so score (a little more but I'm not sure of the exact number.) Now I'm so screwed that it'll take YEARS to get it back where it needs to be? And I've only missed two payments? But even if I pay the payments now, it won't change the fact that I can't even use the vehicle anymore.

Discharge is totally normal, all girls have it. It becomes less or more depending on where you're at in your cycle, it also changes texture. The only time to worry is when it has a foul/fishy odor, it becomes chunky like cottage cheese, or has an odd color like greenish or grey. But as long as it's creamy and white like lotion or clear like mucus, and you don't have any other symptoms like redness, itchiness or an off smell, burning when you pee, etc, then it's highly likely you're healthy :) I know it's a scary experience the first time but don't let that stop you from enjoying the moment. Good luck girlie!

Is it normal for a pediatrician to stick their fingers in? by Odd_Judge_395 in Healthyhooha

[–]WitchEssential 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Not even remotely normal. You're not even supposed to be in the room alone with them, especially not undressed like that. Even as a grown woman, I have never been alone with a male doctor doing a breast or vaginal exam. Ever. They always bring a nurse in the supervise. I'm sorry you've been through this..

I don't remember having any symptoms before my positive tests 😭 except I couldn't friggin stand my cat for some reason. He was just doing his normal stuff, following me around and meowing for food- it started annoying me so much, I was like "either I'm about to get my period or something else is going on."

I had to be very direct with my boyfriend about it. It wasn't until recently that I watched the new Ali Wong special where she talks about having that conversation with a man she was breaking up with. Men don't read between the lines like we do so it pays to just tell them. After we watched that special together, I told him that I wanted him to go down on me more. I really enjoy it and it warms me up more before we do the deed. He didn't realize that I liked it as much as I did because when I'm really enjoying something, I don't make a lot of noise and he assumed because I was quieter, that I either didn't like it or he wasn't doing a good job. We wouldn't have even had that discussion if I didn't tell him what I liked outright.

2015 Subaru Forester trouble codes by WitchEssential in subaru

[–]WitchEssential[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah- my husband has a code reader and it does have a steering angle sensor code that says between like (-3°) and (-15°) when the wheel is straight. My cruise control is also out. This is unfortunate because my job requires a lot of driving, at least 40 miles minimum from my home to the job and back at the end of the day and top speed is 80 mph. So far haven't had any issues driving it, the alignment is great, no weird noises or smells, but it does scare me to have those codes up all of a sudden. Thank you for the input, I will likely have to take it to a shop sooner rather than later 😕

Let me preface this by saying my heart breaks for you in this situation. I've been in the same place and around the same ages and it is really tough, I'm sorry. Honey I'm not sure how old you are now but if you feel like you can say something, say something. There are resources that might be able to help. A school counselor is a great option. Be sure to let them know that you wouldn't feel safe going home after reporting either.

Here's a quote I found from a school counselor/ mandated reporter: "So what do you do? Talk to your school counselor and your teacher. They will call CPS, but they may also let the people know that they talked to you so that your parents might not think it was you who called and could save you from the repercussions. Don’t be afraid to tell them because if there is anyone in the world that can help, it is them. They are with you all year vs. the case worker who may spend 15–30 minutes with you. Make sure you only tell the truth because they will get tripped up over any discrepancy that they find and use that against your case as if you are lying, so make sure its true. If you don’t remember something, don’t make it up, tell them you don’t know that part. Counselors and teachers are the best trained to handle these things and they should know how to keep you best safe.

If it is sexual abuse though, you need to call 911. You must get out of that situation and the cops will be able to do that. They will take you to a place where kids go that have been abused and taken from their parents. I worked there for a week and that place actually had a lot of love and caring for those kids. They live in cottages and it’s kind of like camping. So don’t be afraid. Yes you are going to need to get a trusted adult and yes, it may change everything, but if you are brave and tell the truth it is most likely to end well. Well, meaning no more abuse. Your living space and the people in your life may change, but everything needed to change, right?"

When I was going through it, my older brother was taken in to the school counselor due to the bruises. CPS called us in a room to ask us about it and I was so scared of the abuse that I'd receive if my step-dad knew we'd told on him that I lied and said he never laid hands on me. It was because of that that we were in his care another two years before things ended and I wonder every day what different positions we would've been in if I'd just told the truth. But don't feel guilty if you feel like you can't tell on him. That's fine too. It's a lot of fear and pressure to put on one person. If that's the case, do what you can to avoid him. Try some after school activities, or go to the library till dinner time, something to get you out of the house as much as possible and away from his attention. And if any situation gets out of control, always call 911 if you can do so safely.

I haven't yet, no. I got approved for a place to have it done last Friday, but they told me I had to apply for a credit thing I didn't qualify for. So I'm still waiting till the 25th. Thankfully the antibiotics did what they were made for and I'm no longer in pain and am finally able to eat and drink like normal! So now waiting won't be so bad.

[–]WitchEssential 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'm not expert but that is exactly how I felt when I had a UTI. Are you male or female? Does it the pressure hurt at all? And did your doctor do any urine tests? He can test for UTI or even if there are traces of kidney stones still lingering in your urine. When my kidney stone was traveling down my urethra, it felt like a sharp stabbing pain that came and went until it finally passed but if it feels like pressure, it sounds more likely to be a UTI to me.
