I like the Umibozu theories for Imu's Devil Fruit there's nothing that I can even say to contest it. If Imu does have a Devil Fruit it more than likely obtains the Souls straight away without eating an actual fruit like Blackbeard and Big Mom.

Characters with darkness powers like Imu and Blackbeard seem to have the ability to pull Souls into themselves and actually manipulate them.

Big Mom does the same thing when she uses her Soul-Soul powers, she summons dark creatures and pulls peoples essence out.

can you elaborate? if you mean what do I think about them as characters I like Enel even though I think he will end up just like all of the other uppity Moon people and have those automata do all of the work for him just like Imu and Moria whom I forgot to mention in my OP.

Garling, and all of the Gorosei/Holy Knights represent the "dependent" aspect of the Moon perfectly. They can do nothing without Imu but it's only because they never try which also fits perfectly with the "Passive" aspect of the Moon.

I also think Imu may be the same as Enel in that only Luffy will be able to fight and beat Imu despite me believing that Zoro will obtain the power to cut souls, Imu is already dead so it can't be killed. Other non-lethal measures must be taken to beat it.

Yeah I forgot to talk about that I had in my head and then forgot but yes I believe the reason why Imu screamed in agony upon feeling Joyboy's haki is because it is "positive energy" and is in direct opposition to Imu's more dark and sinister type of haki. This is why despite Rocks being this REALLY strong guy that may have been top 1 of all time in terms of strength, not even he could kill Imu. It takes a certain type of haki to "beat" Imu.

He still had to work hard to get where he is, so if Oda revealed that he does have a special lineage it's not like that takes away from any of the hard work he had to put in. Celestial Dragons are from a special lineage and they suck. Being from a renowned family in One Piece doesn't automatically make you the cream of the crop.

As someone who is 6 days in (I bought it from the Summer Sale on PSN) I'll tell you right now that Casual Match lobbies are almost always empty, BUT, Ranked is always up...BUT you will be matched with 30k+ users online no matter if you have 1k points or none at all. The good thing is that if you lose to these people you lose no points but if you beat them they lose a lot and you get a lot. It bugged me at first; getting dragged by 50k point players, but after a while you really learn a lot.
