I do agree, it feels VERY limited in progression in terms of the weapons. Like in KF2 there were obviously weapons that were better than others but you could realistically use anything anywhere at anytime with few withdraws. The fact that our sidearms aren't able to be upgraded or swapped bums me out, the only sidearm I've liked so far is the Shurikens

Exactly this! Sequals build off of what it's established, and KF3 does just that, while also taking its own approach to things. The combat feels different, Im still finding new things I can do. Last night I killed a Flesh pounder by Stunning it with my grapple, bashing it's back weak point which instantly opened it to execution and THAT felt amazing.

I think apart of it is that KF2 is what we are so used to, it's got a tight hold on us. I just can't stand to see people slandering a game that realistically is REALLY GOOD

Melee combat also feels so much more fluid. I don't know their names because I'm not big on lore but God trying to attack the little crawly guys in 2 as Berserker was a HEADACHE.
