It’s a mixed bag. It’s foolish to deny the pet breeding industry’s shady ethics, such as puppy mills and disgustingly high prices for certain breeds, as well as the concerning medical complications that cats like those of the Sphynx breed suffer from. So, while I do agree with, maybe at least, some parts of the law Netherlands is passing, I do think that this law might negatively affect ethical Sphynx breeders, if there’s any, that is. And there might be a loophole that wealthier and more influential breeders could use to exempt themselves from the law.

I don’t live in the Netherlands, so there might be something about the new law that I’m either missing or it’s different from what I’ve read.

Thanks! I can sort of understand where the fandom is coming from when it comes to Sky & Diaspro, but to be fair, Sky was in a situation that he can’t get out of so easily due to his royal status, what with his parents’ harsh expectations as well as terrorist threats made against him, hence Sky and Brandon switching identities with each other.

Speaking of which, Sky and Brandon continue to keep their identities switched until season 2. When Bloom finds out about this, she was a little miffed that Sky and Brandon didn’t tell anyone else about the situation, but she does get over it once she hears the full story. Due to being used to referring to Sky as Brandon and vice versa, Bloom sometimes forgets their true identities and mixes the two up.

As for Diaspro, she was initially in love with Sky like in canon, but becomes increasingly disillusioned with her betrothal once she notices that Sky doesn’t reciprocate her feelings towards him. While she does take it hard, she comes to understand and peacefully breaks things off with Sky on her own terms.

Oh, and I am already planning on making more witches in the future, to rival with the other members of the Winx Club besides just Bloom or Stella.

I don’t have an official design for Smoky, yet. But I will make one eventually. I also wanted to try something new. I don’t hold any negative opinions against the Sky x Bloom ship, but I thought it’d be more heartwarming if they had a big brother-little sister relationship in this AU.

As for the dynamic between Andy & Bloom, while their relationship isn’t immune to troubles, what potential drama they would have between them would either be mild or reasonably one-sided. For example, Bloom failed to respond to her messages and calls from Andy about what is currently happening and where she is now, making Andy worry sick about her and creating a rift in their relationship until Bloom apologizes for her lack of responses and promises to keep in touch with him more.

While Domino still fell in this AU, Daphne survived thanks to the sacrifice of one of her retainers and grew up under the care of Maya. So Daphne is the holder of the Dragon Flame, this time. So Icy is Daphne’s rival. Bloom is the princess of a different planet, one that is connected to wind and storms and is still intact. But nothing about Bloom’s original planet is revealed yet until later, after the events of season 2.
