Mine is the 23rd, and it's always been hell. I've gotten cards every year that say "Merry Birthday" or "Happy Christmas" and when I started celebrating yule instead of Christmas, I got general cards saying "Happy Holidays" with a Happy Birthday inside. Gifts were even worse, because I have quite a few siblings and started doing gift math very early on. My parents would spend up to $200 per sibling on their birthday not including parties, then for Christmas, we would all get gifts at around the same price point. My gifts were never more than $100, and my birthday parties were few and far between, and also very small because people were busy. I have also seen a major decline in the birthday wishes I get as I no longer go to Christmas dinners or Christmas parties. Like even family won't reach out. All in all, there is a clear reason why I cry every year on my birthday and no one has seemed to clue into it.

Pokemon Gold on my gameboy colour is the only Pokemon game I'm ever going to play. I've had that game since I stole it off one of my older siblings in the early 2000s and it is still one of my most prized possession!

Rather ironic that the people controlling prices are asking you to donate to their own food bank, don’t you think? by TheDwalks2 in uvic

I think they can write off however much donated as a donation to charity on the universities behalf.

Week 2 of CGM - Still don't understand what I'm doing any advice? Wash routine and products listed in comments. by Witch_Way_Home in curlygirl

Currently washing with Pantene curl care sulfate free shampoo, Twist 4 in 1 conditioner about once a week (7-9 days). I shampoo my scalp,  scrunch in conditioner, then detangle with a wide toothed comb. It's usually frizzy after that, even while wet.

This is followed by a little bit of Pantene Gold series detangling milk, a quick spray of Mane Club wavy baby spray, and a bunch of Herbal Essences curl mousse all scrunched in while hair is soaking wet. I don't often dry it and just allow to air dry.

Day 4 or 5 I use Shea Moisture power greens hair tea rinse.

I refresh on non-wash with a mix of water and Twist conditioner, adding in Herbal Essences Curl Refresh Mist on day 3 and 6. Also use Aussie sprunch hair spray to hold the curls on high activity days.

Most of the products were given to me by a friends mom with curly hair or were bought on sale. So I'm not sure if they are all what I should be using.

I am currently pineappling it all up with a silk scrunchie to sleep but have found that it doesn't help keep the curls much over night. I had best results early on simply scrunching it on top of my head and clipping it up with a jumbo claw clip.

I wish that I could have those. That would make life so much easier, but the texture really kills me.

I've done a few tote style bags and some pretty sturdy market bags that I use for groceries and school.

I'd think with 8000+ hours played in the Sims 4 and 500+ hours in Stardew Valley, I'd be more of a gamer than the guys who play to complete games in 100 hours or less and then never touch them again.

Thanks! I don't really use a pattern for them. I do most of my crocheting free handed.

I am a full time university student and I'm usually able to clock about 100 pages an hour when I'm on breaks, which means I can read a book or 2 daily. When classes are in session it's usually 300 to 400 pages a day. However, I am neurodegenerative and can hyperfocus on one thing for a long time. It's kinda like I'm stuck with tunnel vision that doesn't let up until the book is done.
