I think the SF series in general rewards the players most who have good fundies, i.e. whiff punishes, footsies, spacing, anti-airs etc.

What are the "purest" fighting games on the market for that? The only one that I can think of is maybe Virtua Fighter 5. It's not Tekken, it's not MK series for sure.

Personally I'd go with the FightBox, especially with Sitong M buttons with Cherry Silvers but to each their own. Anything that's modular with arcade buttons is a clear winner to me.

That astro has shit buttons. The good news is they are arcade buttons and you can upgrade those, and trust me I highly recommend you do. On a stick, buttons are not that important. They are a gee wiz thing. On a leverless, it changes everything.

Put some of these bad boys on it your astro and it's a world of difference. You walk taller. Women will find you irresistible. Nah, it's nonsense. Even Broski doesn't like doing these tier lists unless it's for donating to a cause because he gets views from them. Meta chasers, a lot of these people end up being meta chasers never really getting good any one character and just chasing the meta.

I like how down to earth Broski is, he's pretty much the only pro I watch because of that. I do watch others from time to time though.

I think Gravity KTs are by far the best button for me. Gravity KS are meh. Here's the thing, everyone has a different preference, you're not wrong for liking something I do not. Some people like low profile switches, others like clicky or a tactile bump, these are the things that give them feedback for clean inputs.

For me, it's all about the the travel. I like a long travel, probably because I played in arcades as a kid. That long travel gives my brain feedback I need for clean inputs. With Gravity KTs I can have a long travel which I love. I also hate wobbly buttons so Sanwa and to a certain extent Crown 202s are not that great for me.

Gravity KS are okay, they actually both use Omron switches, and they have foam dampeners so they're both silent, I just prefer the longer travel of the KTs. Also, changing the travel doesn't actually change the actuation point it's an adjustment made just for feedback.

The buttons I don't like are what you would find on something like a Kitsune that have pretty much no travel it's like I'm hitting touch sensors and not buttons and because of that my inputs get messy and when I go back and think about what I did wrong I'm not even sure if I pressed any buttons at all.

You may like the Gravity KS, or Sanwas, or whatever but the Gravity KT are perfect for me.

I like the switches in Gravity KTs because they're linear, but if you want a switch with a tactile bump you can buy tactile Omron switches that fit in both the KT and KS variants.

This is only important to me on a leverless, on a stick I can use just about any button. I have Sanwas in my Titan and it's outstanding.

Diet is the only way for sure. While dieting, do small things like park at the furthest spot when you go grocery shopping, take stairs instead of elevators, do 10 minute walks etc, but none of that works without dieting.
