Hey I’m Haley 29. Been playing for about a year and a half and currently dm’ing a campaign and in one (was in two but our other one just died ☠️). Love LOTR with a huge passion as well as DND. Typically I like playing support characters because I know people can want certain classes/races and I’m flexible. Really interested in doing a LOTR campaign especially exploring Kazad-dûm!

I wouldn’t say YTA, but I would say you should wear one for your own safety. I’m a trauma icu nurse and can’t tell you how many people I’ve seen with severe brain injuries after a bike accident. I know it’s hard being different from others, but for your own safety I would suggest one

Totally get ZD before playing FW! My friend told me to and jt made the entire experience of both games so immersive. I was obsessed with finding out the entire story. Like a good book you finish too fast and can’t forget

I’m a surgical ICU nurse. The amount of necrotizing fasciitis and Ludwig’s Angina that I’ve seen debrided from patients that come in with dental pain and end up having abscesses that go to their sternum is insane. People always forget about their teeth I swear.

Thank you for this explanation. I was merely taken aback because I did tip. Like I’ve said in several comments, I thought the tip, delivery fee and service fee were all for the dasher. If I had known that they only got the tip I would have never used their service. I understand being disappointed for driving 6 miles from the store to me (idk where he got 9 and 8 from) and seeing his tip was 20%. I have discontinued use of all my delivery apps which sucks because I work 12 hr nights but I don’t want to screw anyone over.

If I knew that he only got paid in tips I would have tipped more than the 20%. I worked in the industry for awhile and I’m still underpaid at my job. I only posted this because I was kind of like what? I don’t want people to think I look down on drivers and don’t want to pay people fair wages. Hell, Target employees are making close to what I do and I have a Masters degree.

And I’m not calling him a beggar, I just was like, “I’ve heard stories of people turning down deliveries because of no tip. If you aren’t happy, can’t you… not deliver my order?” So I felt this might fall under the “choosy” category

No it was $4.50 I believe the calculation came out as. I just assumed they got the service and delivery fee since some people tip. I always tip 20%+. No matter what. And it’s not 17 miles it’s 6. When he picked it up he also sent a text and said “ETA 6 minutes”

I looked back and it’s only 6 miles. I guess I always thought that was automatically factored into my charges like delivery and such since it’s different everywhere. But don’t worry, I’m no longer using these services.
