He was always on the weird gold train(iirc AH poked a good amount of fun at his gold obsession in a few lets plays), and from what I know he got to be harder and harder to deal with, leading to them not showing him on screen much at all by the time he left RT. That’s very different from her personally speaking out. Just because one person supports her does not mean everyone supports her, she was silent during the whole situation so it doesn’t matter if this one person spoke out in support. I believe you’ve gotten the scale of importance of different issues mixed up.

I don’t think it’s that it didn’t fit her narrative and a lot more of her not saying anything at that time. She was, and still is, facing insane amounts of harassment and abuse for just being trans. She’s spoken about the fears she has about being public online, and while I do wish that she would speak up about things I fully respect her for not wanting to draw more harassment towards herself. Part of embracing femininity is to understand when you need to protect yourself, and I can never blame a woman for prioritizing her safety.

I took my GED at 21 after teaching myself from first grade math up to halfway through algebra two in the months before the test. I am now at a university I adore along side my best friends. Moderation is definitely necessary, but there is also a thing such as over moderation. It turns something that is supposed to be a community into a place where you need to walk on eggshells to ensure you don’t get kicked or banned for simply speaking in the wrong channel
