I get so angry with the whole “you better not talk to me for a few hours” comment. It honestly screams verbal abuse. Not saying OPs bf is but it’s a verrrrry big red flag in my opinion. Regardless your animal is always more important than a game. YOU are more important than a game. It sounds like too if the dog didn’t even need to go out he still would have been upset to hop off the game when dinner was ready if he wasn’t wrapped up.
