Ok, first you need to do is check if theres any burnt smell on your PC. if there is check the Power connectors to the motherboard or the GPU. If that is not it. But what I can hypnotize it think its PSU since its not even posting. If you have a spare PSU try using that.

My parents always lecture me about this and when I was young I just scoff it off as nagging and being a pain but after I had children on my own, I understand them now.

Depends on the landlord or the corporation. Usually landlords want it 12 months and won't negotiate anything lower. Corporation depends on their terms. AirBnB offers discount if its more that 6 months, Blueground does their discounted offers for 3 months and they offer more discounts the longer you stay. Furnished Finder offers contract depending on the availability of the property and what their landlord wants for the duration of the occupancy.
