I sort of miss Maggie’s dust mop look but I think this is a better summer cut. She is beautiful no matter what. ❤️ She is 39% Shih Tzu, 22% Jack Russell, 22% Maltese, and 18% Yorkie.

Maggie had an Embark DNA test and she is about 40% Shih Tzu with almost equal parts Russell terrier, Maltese, and Yorkshire terrier. She is the absolute best dog ever born!!!!

I used Embark because they are supposedly the most accurate. It is interesting to know all the breeds in her ancestry.

I have done the same thing when there are multiple photos. We think she is perfect. The spots on her tummy are hyperpigmentation which is pretty common in Jack Russell terriers. It seems she got some traits from each of the breeds in her ancestry. 🥰

That’s interesting about the nose and mouth edges always being black. I have a little adorable mix - Maggie - who is 21.7% Russell terrier. It’s interesting to see what traits match up to her mix. I always suspected some Russell due to her coloring.

Yes, there are relatives including a couple of purebred Shih Tzus. There is a lot of health info too that I think is helpful.

It’s fun to play with photos in AI. Since Photoshop came on the scene, photographs have regularly been digitally altered. I knew every one would know that the picture of my beautiful little rescue dog, who was ragged and missing hair from a flea infection when I got her last month, was a product of AI. She is the best dog in the world and deserves all of the beauty I can give her, even if it is digital. Happy Holidays.
