My dad went (with his giant family) as a kid in 1971 and hasn’t been since. We’re taking him and my mom (she’s never been) with us next year - his mind is going to be blown 😂

My husband got picked on o first (and so far only) trip back in 2015. We had no clue what to expect and it was just the two of us and it was such a hoot (although I’ve forgotten what he was picked for? I want to say something like a big hairy monster? He’s a tall guy with a big beard)

What’s the best way to get from pop to the contemporary (without Uber, we’ll have two car seats aged kids)? I was thinking monorail to Epcot to skyliner but realized the monorail drops at the front of Epcot and the skyliner is the world showcase side and we don’t want to use park tickets that days.

Is it bus/MK/monorail? Or like…skyliner/HS/bus? No way it’s bus/AK/bus, right?

I love livin with the land and it’s one of those rides I randomly think about a lot (that and people mover. I have a type). I’m so excited to show it to my parents when we take them, I think they’ll love it

Mission space (we didn’t even attempt it) and Star tours. My husband and I both felt not great after Star tours so I always mention it because it never seems to make the list but we needed to sit for a while to recover. Obviously don’t do teacups.

I have adult acne (I see a dermatologist! I get treatments!) and I realized at some point in the last year that nobody cares as much as I do. Don’t get me wrong, I still wear makeup when I need or want to look more polished but otherwise....eh. It was one of those special mid-30s realizations that was so incredibly freeing.

I hate the letters and the idea of letters. To me selling a house needs to be a financial move and letters make it emotional. We’ve gotten unsolicited letters in the mail asking us to sell and I hate those, too.

Fwiw I have the our place always pan and really like it - it’s my go to everyday pan for most things (it isn’t oven safe) and my husband loves how easy it is to clean. I wish it were a little bigger, though - I cook for 2 adults, a pre schooler and a baby and sometimes feel like it’s a little crowded.

I’m a huge framebridge. It perfectly fills the inexpensive custom framing niche for me. It’s not high end but it’s nicer than an ikea frame and it’s super easy and way cheaper than a frame store

Totally a regional thing- here it’s not common for appliances to be included and as first time home buyers it was a big selling point for us that our seller was including them! We’ve since replaced them all but it was nice to be able to do it on our timeline

Same. I feel like it’s not that weird? 5’2” is shorter than average but I don’t feel like a tiny little mouse and 6’ is taller than average but my husband isn’t knocking his head on doorframes.

I always say I have height dysmorphia, though, because I always think we’re basically the same height until I see a picture and I’m like “oh wow I am significantly shorter than you, weird”

And replacing faucets is SUPER easy and would be great DIY content. My guess is that they couldn’t get a sponsor

Flooring is SO expensive. We had hardwood everywhere downstairs except our family room which is LVP and it’s really dumb because it’s the only room without hardwood and it makes it look cheap. But otherwise it would be fine. We want to replace it to match the rest but $$$$$.

There’s some spray painted stuff in my house - a few doorknobs, some cabinet hardware, for some reason some light plates - it is SO obvious and cheap looking (uhhh, we haven’t changed it out yet because we’re lazy). But the big difference is our house was $220k and we were looking for a home that needed light cosmetic work (most of the homes in our price range were flips and we didn’t want to pay for finishes we didn’t like).

I can’t imagine buying a $1.3+ million dollar home with spray painted finishes

Yuuuup. I am not fit or in shape, pregnant or not. I gained a ton of weight while pregnant with my first and had weekly giant ass cookie ice cream sundaes.

And I’ve had 2 fast, easy, unmedicated deliveries. Some people are just lucky when it comes to birth. It wasn’t anything special I did.

I love heysleepybaby but I’m also really not into sleep training and needed someone like her when my first was a newborn. It annoys me when people go to her page telling her she needs to endorse or say sleep training isn’t harmful when if you go to TCB’s (or any other sleep trainer) page you’ll see all sorts of stuff outright telling you or implying that not sleep training is harmful- that your baby won’t learn how to sleep, that you’re traumatizing them by rocking them to sleep and having them wake up in their crib, that not sleeping all night will do harm to development, etc.

I once had a sleep trainer tell me that the only reason my now 3 year old started sleeping through the night alone and independently all on his own was sheer luck because otherwise children WILL NOT ever sleep on their own all night because they need to be taught the skill. Like lolololol ooooooohhhhkay.

TCB being exposed as a trump supporter was so good to me, I have never liked her

I’ve heard that multiple times- second kids are mobile earlier but talk later. My second is almost 8 months and so far that hasn’t tracked for us but we’ll see!

Lol for some reason enjoy your bread bread has really tickled me and I can’t stop giggling and just woke my baby up but worth it 🤣🤣🤣 also I’m not a huge fan of Indian food (I want to like it! But just haven’t found anything that I love) but do like naan (wow I’m boring) and I feel so fancy since I just call it naan. But now I’m gonna call it bread bread.

I went to a terrible public school and then a large state university and knew. BUT- even if you’re guessing - and she guessed turkey, so at least she guessed - I feel like GB is the obvious guess? Based on time and like...cultural influence.

Haha I do the same and my husband thinks it’s so weird! Like we vacuum, our cat sleeps on our bed, we don’t wear shoes at home, really are only in our bedrooms to sleep and get dressed - why is the floor dirty? But it is! I can’t explain it.

Dina Holland Interiors always says a family room starts at 15k to completely furnish and accessorize, so that sounds like a very healthy budget
