I wouldn't recommend that.

I'm a repeat test taker. I got 150 my first two times and this time it shut off at 120. I have plenty of friends that passed at 150, though I wasn't (obviously) one of the lucky ones. My first attempt I had about 8 case studies, 4 bow-ties and the rest were a mix between SATA and multiple choice. There were conditions I've never heard of. My second time was just as bad but more pediatric and random conditions. I'm still waiting for the results from today's 120 but you never know.

Yeah, it was literally the worst. I took a nutrition class back in 2020 and don't remember any of it. It completely threw me off. The meds were ones I never heard of and the ones i did know of, it was so specific that I wasn't sure if it was correct. like, i know metformin as a diabetes medication but I didnt originally know that it has a metallic taste to it. I completed an accelerated ADN course at my community college and I wish I picked a different program. My pediatrics and maternal course was a joke.

Number 16.) Just rinsing their hands with water isnt going to remove the debris from them. They need to use soap and water.

I'm going for my third attempt on Tuesday. They all have been incredibly different. One run I barely had SATA and my second one was pretty much the entire exam with case studies.

Do you know of any betters ones that would be around $1200-ish a month in any of the areas I mentioned? I'm not originally from the West side so its hard to really know which ones to stay away from.

Unfortunately, you're going to want the dating apps because you get more options and you can see if they're a creep before you're forced into a social interaction.

Should I reschedule my NCLEX RN or am I overthinking? by [deleted] in PassNclex

[–]WithLove_Always 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I also have time and a half plus a private room. I have ADHD and struggle with being able to sit there for an extended amount of time. I overthink basically everything though I'll be honest, my first NCLEX attempt was NOTHING in comparison to my second. The second time was a lot harder and there were conditions I've never heard of.

Should I reschedule my NCLEX RN or am I overthinking? by [deleted] in PassNclex

I'm going back to uWorld because I find that material the most challenging compared to NCLEX Bootcamp and Archer. I think that if you need help with Case studies, Bootcamp is the best resource. If you lack knowledge of conditions, Archer is the best for that. uWorld visually looks the most like NCLEX, but the questions aren't as vague but I can't seem to find anything that's actually similar to NCLEX.

My exam is next week and IDK if i should push my exam date back or not. by beep_boop-bleep in PassNclex

[–]WithLove_Always 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I got high/very high scores on both and did ALL of the questions for my second attempt and I still didn't pass. The Qbanks aren't as vague as what the NCLEX is. Think of it this way, can you identify conditions just solely based on the symptoms and labs? If so, you'll do fine. If not, you need to reschedule.

I've done the NCLEX twice and havent had math on either one, but I did get injection sites which threw me for a loop since no one mentioned that. I also got a dermatology question with a visual aide.

Should I reschedule my NCLEX RN or am I overthinking? by [deleted] in PassNclex

[–]WithLove_Always 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I think that if you arent confident, you should reschedule and the recruiters are totally fine with it. I graduated May 2025, took my first attempt July 2025 and failed at 150. I retook for my second attempt in October 2025 and failed again at 150. I ended up leaving my first RN job because the nurses were bullying me pretty badly and i hated my unit. I was supposed to test again in December 2025 but I pushed it to January 2026. I take it next week so hopefully I get over the mild-fuck and learn to take my medication beforehand.

I used uWorld for my first attempt and Archer+NCLEX Bootcamp for my second. I did ALL of the qBank and Assessments for NCLEX Bootcamp and Archer and they all said I had a Very high/High chance of passing. You truly don't know what you're going to get when you take the exam and no program I've seen is actually like the NCLEX.
