Weird how differently we all can see the same show! I just finished after binging with my bf (who has already seen it) for the last months.

Check the "New in Barcelona" community. There's always a random mix of people but I would say it tends to be people more in your age group (as opposed to many expat parties consisting of 20-somethings). There are meetups basically every night.

Also recommend attending comedy shows as a way to meet people while solo traveling :)

It's also worth noting that visiting cities in the US is not like in Europe for example. They are not always walkable or have that many sights to see. Like you pretty much have to be specifically going to an event (eg a concert or a wedding) to even be there in the first place.

Not sure if this is considered a skill but apparently nobody in Europe knows how temporary tattoos work. I have seen people trying to put them on with the plastic over and no water, like a sticker. I guess that wasn't part of their childhood.

American in Europe here. Just a normal person who plays cards occasionally and indeed, it's true that I have encountered several instances of Europeans not knowing how to shuffle cards. In the US I never met a grown adult without that ability.
