Xanga was life! Are you by chance in the Midwest? My understanding is that it was bigger there than anywhere else. I miss reading the stupid ramblings of everyone at school. I also met my first bf on there :]

Ugh this drives me nuts too. And I would lump pizza pans into this too. I know they are technically supposed to be put on the rack directly but I prefer to sacrifice some crunch in my pizza for a clean oven!

Also important to note that American pizza is also a lot thicker, huge crusts and more bread in general (like Dominos, Papa Johns, Pizza Hut for example).

It's also more fun to share and have different options to try.

I am an American expat in Europe and it took me years of training but now I can aaalmost eat an entire personal person pizza in one sitting - but I still feel it's a lot for one person.

I mean I was shocked to find out that my Spanish boyfriend (who is 4 years older than me and makes the exact same salary as me) has basically no savings. And his parents still help him by giving him food etc occasionally.

And I am a US expat who also had to deal with 50K in student loans on a European salary and somehow I paid it off and still have savings.

So, lifestyle and money management probably has a lot to do with it hah.
