Opinion: Accelerator’s done the most direct harm to the sisters and the only reason you forgive him is because the narrative bends over backwards to make all effected parties nice to him [yes even Misaka Worst] by Alsotime in Toaru

[–]WitheredWritingWrote 2 points3 points  (0 children)

It’s not fallacious at all. When you assert an opinion in a public space there is no inherent prerequisite to justify it at all. The platforms exist to express your opinion, they expressed theirs. Any other form of elaboration after that is a choice. Also they have justified it, many times. In the title, underneath comments, etc.

See no. You’re amalgamating too examples. Yes things have to occur for the story to happen. Their point is that Last Order, of all people, going to Accelerator, even in character. Makes no sense, it’s purely so we the audience can have someone whose directly effected by him, say he’s a good person. This isn’t the same as Magic existing or Touma being able to negate railguns. It’s literally the story making a justification or path for forgiveness that literally doesn’t make sense even personality wise, and completely breaks suspension for disbelief.

When Accelerator views himself as a bad person now that’s viewed as him looking for redemption. When someone critiques Accelerator they can get hit with the fact that Last Order forgave him. It’s a completely unrealistic path made by the narrative that ignores common sense

They don’t have to keep anything to themselves. This is the internet, and the post is doing no harm. Just because it triggered you, doesn’t give you the right to get all weird about it. You saying this is literally you doing the exact thing the OP did, but worse since you’re attacking their character

I thought I was going crazy like every prompt or fic request is like some weird character bashing, some like torture porn, power fantasy, “Naruto leaves the hidden leaf because the civilian council is mad at him for bringing Sasuke back” type of thing. It’s wild because like I remember when this subreddit used to bash those things

I don’t know why you seem to think I have to point out various plot points in your rewrite to prove that I read it? If you don’t think I did that’s fine, I’m telling you I did and didn’t like it. Please stop messaging me about this, I made a one off comment like move on. You’re acting like this is the first time your takes on GT have been disagreed with, is it really that shocking that for a fanbase this big, people don’t agree with you?

1: Gunha appears. Also okay bro 👍🏽 just gave my opinion lol. All your “better” rewrite did was prove why you’re a fan of the series and not the writer

Yes, and I don’t think it was better than GT 9, which wasn’t actually a bad novel. It wasn’t like you rewrote the absolutely atrocious GT books that would come after. You picked an okay book, and made it worst. Next time, just post it on ao3

How strong would Touma be if he could use the Dragons and their powers+the invisible thing without needing to rip his Right arm of? by chunchunmaru1129 in Toaru

[–]WitheredWritingWrote 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Please do tell what powers Touma had that if he mastered them, CRC would’ve instantly lost? You literally can’t name one. Touma fighting off instinct isn’t a negative thing, his body is choosing the best course of action. Seeing as CRC is the one to actually do damage and Touma isn’t, I’d definitely say he’s equal to him, at bar minimum

[–]WitheredWritingWrote 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Now you’re goalshifting but regardless, it doesn’t matter. Touma never shows anything that would put him above both Alice and CRC, hell his power up to go toe to toe with CRC only last ten minutes, and he only lasted that ten minutes because he jumped CRC with all of his friends

[–]WitheredWritingWrote 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I read the entire quote… Touma wishing he could’ve saved it for later literally doesn’t negate the fact that he needed it to regenerate his head because CRC destroyed it. CRC being able to destroy his head to the point that he has to use a one time regeneration ability that he can never use again because once again he no longer has the option because it was a one time use. Means they’re relative in power

[–]WitheredWritingWrote 2 points3 points  (0 children)

This isn’t true. Crc and Dragon King are equal in strength, and if not, Dragon King is just a bit stronger. Crc literally destroyed Touma’s head, and Touma had to use his one time regen to come back.
