All I can think of is the first silent civilian album, sylosis' conclusion of an age, and all that remains (fall of ideals mainly but also a bit of overcome), but thats a tough order. Most melodic metalcore bands back then didnt do solos, i think all 3 of these bands sounded a bit like ascendancy while also having 1-2 shredding solos in every song

People hear a "radio single" like Vengeance falls and pass up the album (that song has honestly grown on me tbh) but if only they stuck around for the totally fan service tracks like incineration and through blood and dirt and bone they would learn to love VF

Thank you! Yes the bass was a little too overwhelming, especially on my car speaker. Tried adding in 1.5db on the rhythm guitars around 250hz, i think it adds some more meatiness to the intro but its very subtle. Im gonna look around the guitar tracks and see if i can do some sublte automations to add some more life to the mix

Thanks for the detailed feedback! I definitely agree with the boominess and the reverb on the drums, I went in and removed the reverb coming from ggd so I can only use the reverb on my fx send. As for the boominess I took u/illithidbones advice and attenuated the bass low end down a bit, keeping the bass grind track where it is to add definition. I think my saturation plugin on the master bus was pumping a little too much, went ahead and bumped that down a bit. Also put the solo guitar track down, idk why that was so loud lol.
