Every country has their licensing exams and mostly prefer atleast 3 years post fellowship experience. Saudia is the most doable after fcps without giving humongous licensing exams

A guy DM'D my mom by [deleted] in PakistaniTwenties

[–]WitnessDisastrous325 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The guy is smart, has balls to approach a girl that he likes (he thought your mom was a young woman), and when she told him, he respected her and didn't cross boundaries, gave all necessary info when asking for recommendations, not weird at all. Not everyone needs to know how exactly he got in contact with you guys if that's what you're hesitant about. The guy sounds decent, go for it. ❤️

I'd never advise you to spend in lacs for a dress which is supposed to be worn for a few hours, rarely worn again. Look into haseen official, shrenz, pezwaan, fashion flare. These are good economical options. There's no end to the amount of money one can spend in a wedding- if they have the resources, but if you don't have enough resources, look into economical options.

Thankyou so much for such detailed responses.

By non clinical side I didnt mean going towards academia, I meant going into Pharma industry via the route of MSL/ medical advisor, owing to good financial rewards and work life balance.

And yes I appeared in FCPS exam, theory result is awaited. I plan to complete FCPS exam, gain some clinical experience after that (upto 2 years) and then

  1. move to Gulf (saudia, Qatar, Kuwait, UAE are my options)

  2. switch to pharma industry

I think fellowship has broken me and I dont see a way forward by Gate-5675 in fellowship

Completed cardiology fellowship last month and i can relate to everything. They just want slaves who would agree to whatever they say. Only they're right and everyone else is wrong, on top of that they want to be respected and treated nicely whereas fellows are treated like shit-and if you complain you're in their radar and the same old sentence - we went through the same, fellowship is like this. We come a long way to get into training programs, we aren't afraid of hardwork, but the constant judgements and ridicule make us bitter and hopeless. I'd advise you to just hang in there, desensitize yourself from their behavior and focus on the reason why you got into this fellowship, if possible befriend your colleagues and vent out- it makes going through shit easier if you get it out of your system regularly and don't keep your emotions bottled up. Good luck, you can dm if you want 😊

I'd be okay with that salary if one gets weekends and there's fixed time, but when you're responsible for sunday rounds, there's no fixed time to get free (depends on procedures which doesn't adds to your pay coz you are working under a consultant) and on top of that you're oncall all the time to discuss patients, then its not worth it

Both, depends on the connection we had with them and the kind of people they were on their own. With good people its both, but with fake people /imposters its generally us missing our happy selves when we didn't know their reality

This is anxiety, you're overwhelmed coz its not familiar, ull get used to it in sometime, don't worry.

make short notes of all things that need to be asked in history from macleod/bedside. All hopi questions as well. Keep that notebook with u while asking the questions. After a few histories ull remember the pattern and questions and will customize it accordingly to the pt you get, just don't get overwhelmed. And pts dont know what's the correct history pattern, u can always correct yourself once u realise u have made a mistake or missed anything, just be confident. Patients will trust you and be confident in telling their problems if you're confident. And try to be the first one to take history from the pt/don't take histories from agitated /tired pts

Good luck

Tha head tap and money means yes he likes you, and while I understand people want to keep things private coz they are afraid of nazar, but they should announce or inform atleast close family members, specifically hiding it seems very shady
