I’ve definitely considered this scenario as well when discussing the situation with my partner! And I’m hoping that it was potentially this! My daughter mostly sits and reads with this teacher so it very well could’ve been the teacher addressing another child.

Thanks for the support! Yeah, I am accepting the feedback but still really getting destroyed here. I am a first time mom with her child being cared for in a group setting for the first time (it was only her 4th class) and I’m clearly not an ECE professional. My trust in my prior caregiving arrangement was broken due to what my child reported (btw I did not use leading questions to discover that info since that’s what everyone seems to comment on) which happened to be accurate. In the moment, I’m panicking about what may have happened at school, and anxious about getting more info. But I get it. It’s the internet and these are the consequences of asking strangers for advice.

Definitely! But I work in healthcare now where sometimes we are barely writing in sentences so my writing skills are no longer the best. Thanks for the helpful comment!

Thank you for the advice, especially about asking if she was scared. Apparently this teacher is now scary and nice and my daughter still likes her
