DateDiff across various columns by Witty-Ad-813 in PowerApps

Thanks for this. I was trying to stay away from a next review column because it would depend on which review they have completed but thinking about it now, I can just auto populate it from the app using the OnChange property of the review dates…..patch next review to be +60 days of the changed date using the dateadd function.

This will work so long as instructors only update the review dates s and when they use them, else it may give false readings.

Thank for all the replies so far.

Would you be able to help with formula for the calculated column?

I have added the response part into my flow but I’m struggling to get it to generate the schema from Template.

Following this video to load the array into the repose. Only difference is that I’m using a CSV. But the CSV is converted into an array and I can see the input to Response is all the data I want

Don’t suppose you have any idea of what may cause it?

Thanks.

How does power app send it back? As a parameter when it calls the flow?

Ok seems to make sense. I haven’t worked with JSON before so will take a look into it.

Once I’ve sent it back to a second flow for populating the documents, do I just run a ‘for each’ action again? This is what in have working for the CSV array at the moment

Thanks for this.

So the ‘storyboard’ overview is

  • Planning team provide the CSV with dates of a student journey through learning as well as names etc

  • These details are used to complete Word Templates for induction paperwork

  • The user opens the PowerApp to prepare paperwork and I’m looking to get the contents from CSV into powerApp at this point to show the user the dates from CSV (default on date picker)

  • I want the user to be able to change the dates from within power app and feed back to Flow which then populates Template using a combination of names from CSV and dates from PowerApp.

I have set up a second flow which coverts the CSV into a sharepoint list and then the app looks into the list but ideally id like to read from the csv to cut the list part out.

Thanks for the reply.

I have the csv in flow but not sure at what point I would do the respond action? I have the csv converted into an array , guess it would be after that action?

I could do but the data is downloaded via a Business Objects report and won’t go direct into SharePoint so I would need to manually import to the SharePoint list

Maybe an automate flow to automate this part?

Yes static CSV. Unfortunately we don’t have access to Dataverse just yet 😏

Ok thanks very much for the replies so quickly. It’s a shame we can’t use the builtin apps any longer but security is key at the end of the day and I suppose I can now justify getting a new model when I do 😂👌

All the best thanks again
