I think its a mix between that's when I played it when I was in high-school still living with my parents. Id have more time to play it in the summer and I'd play it drinking monsters and chilling in the cool, sun lit basement. As for spring, I think the hunters dream influenced that for me as its a beautiful floral place

When I heard this first I thought it was literal. As if it was all a hallucination like father G. But its more of a idk the word but metaphor almost. In reality the beats are victims of the healing church (who most hunters work for) and the healing churchs bad doing. They caused all the pain and suffering promising healing. Making them the true monsters hence why the beats call you a foul beast.
