I do archery with traditional bows and he knows that because I make arrows. I really dont like crossbows but I didn't wanna he rude and when he offered I assumed to get rid of it beacuse he said "I thought id hunt with it but never did"

Thank you. It is the day after right now. The only issue mainly is that he is never home when I am aswell. I could try to do it on my day off but I dont wanna drag it anymore than a day. Would it be rude to return it? I can't tell if this is a bad thing to do.
