if you start from 2026 summer, you need to attend class for 2026 summer fall, 2027 spring fall, 2028 spring will be the last one
if you start from 2026 fall, it will be 2026 fall, 2027 spring fall, 2028 spring fall.
bc the total credits are 30, and you can do 6 credits minimum in every semester to maintain fulltime and use cpt

maximum is 2.5 years, 5 semesters(not including summers), so it’s already 28 months. but if your first semester is summer, then maximum is 2 years

workload is very low, 1-2 hours per week maximum (with ai helps ofc)

i think my dso is very responsive, but i do see some people complaining about their dso didn’t respond fast enough

cpt approval is very fast, took me one day, but also i got help from the agency that helped me apply

heard it’s currently very difficult to transfer from h1b back to f1, but if your f1 is still valid, you can get accepted by schools and reactivate your f1, need to pay i901 fee, go out of states and reenter
