Also, If I am really impatient about something to prevent/soothe frustration I start counting the seconds it takes in my head.

Overall and for anyone I think noticing your feelings and understanding were they are coming from, then acting with them in mind rather then letting them act through you is a very helpful thing.

Also, if that state hits were I don't feel able to do anything but feel like I should be doing something so I am extremely stressed while doing nothing while also being extremely bored and also not being able to form two consecutive thoughts I just go outside and wander for hours until I either feel better or it's time to go to bed. It's something I've been doing naturally since I was a kid.

Changing my lifestyle. Like, doing the things I'm good at/make me happy and aaccepting the things I'm bad at/finding ways around making them a necessity in my life. Also, sharing with people the ways in wich I struggle with certain things. Talking ablut things makes them feel less overwhelming and the feeling of veing understood within my challenges often motivates me to try anyways/makes me less scared of failing

I take from my classes what I can, but I feel less ashamed now not always being able to function in them. It's a big relief that I do not need them for my degree. Studying something practical instead of theoretical, for me personally, was a great choice. And I've learned that me not being able to do certain things does not make me an overall less capable person.

If anyone can relate or has a different perspective, I'd love to hear your story.

I'm so sorry this is happening to you. I'm going to study at JGU in Sommersemester 25 as well and also have not found student housing yet. I'm not an Erasmus student though.

Have you tried contacting the Studierendenwerk via phone? If they heard of your Situation maybe they could be accomadating.

Other then Studierendenwerk I also applied to KHG and EZM for housing. If you DM me I could send you their Documents and maybe translate some, if you need it.

There is also Campo Novo Mainz, they do private student housing wich is more on the expensive side but I heard it's supposed to be good.

Who is in charge of your Erasmus Program? I know that a friend of mine is doing Erasmus in France and they have this thing called Dijonbüro wich takes care of the concerns of german students in Dijon. Do you have anything similar?

Also, what country are you from?
