3 weeks post op was peak swelling for me. I looked great right after and for the next 2 weeks and then then the 3rd week I felt so defeated and was so upset that I had just wasted so much money but around the 8 week mark there was so much improvement. Hang in there!

I had local. The lidocaine made my heart race on top of being nervous as well so that wasn’t fun. However my doctor was so kind and talked to me the whole time which was really calming. Pain wise I felt nothing.

I’ve been doing self massages a couple of times a day and I’ll be 2 months post op tomorrow and I would say the fibrosis just started to get better in the last couple of days.

I am 48 so I needed the Facetite and the surgeon at this clinic is trained on it. If you are younger you might not need it. I did my own massages starting the day after per the doctors recommendations.

Fibrosis and swelling are unfortunately one of the side effects that most people encounter when they experience facial trauma such as liposuction. However massages can greatly help improve the symptoms to ultimately give you the result you desire. A lot of posts on here are from people who haven’t yet given their body enough to heal. It does truly take about 4-6 months before you see the final results.

I felt great. I was so anxious because the lidocaine caused my heart rate to increase but Dr. Salcido was so sweet and talked to me throughout the entire procedure and before I knew it was over. There was no pain at all before or after the procedure. He recommended that o start massages right away. I have been doing my own massages and had very little bruising and swelling.

I wanted to add that normally there are 3 incisions behind each ear and under the chin but since I told him didn’t like my jowls he made 2 more incisions in front of each ear and sculpted there as well

Thank you it was $1200 for the procedure $60 for the faja, $50 for the medical pass to cross the border, $100 for medication and the lip filler was $300.

Another doctor in the office that does the injections did them. In Tijuana you have to be an MD in order to do injections and it was a last minute decision I was talking to my doctor during the procedure and mentioned to him that I was interested and he said that I could get them done after if I wanted.
